The views throughout the hike are just breath taking! A must do---have to work off some of that wine and pasta! Keep in mind-it's an all day affair. Must have comfortable clothes and walking shoes. Bring lots of water and a few snacks. We stopped for lunch at Santa Croce-amazing view, great food. Take a bus map so you know... More

We took the bus to Praianno and hiked back to Positano and our great hotel Villa Yiara. We choose that direction because we wanted to end our trip with lunch at La Tagliata. It is mostly rocky with lots of up and downs. I don't know which way is easier and I don't think that it is an easy walk... More

Amazing views around every corner, but take your time and take plenty of water and wear decent shoes.

What a way to spend a couple of hours, hiking down the Footpath of the Gods! The views are stupendous. You will not be sorry you did this. (P.S. Take lots of water and some snacks!)

This was the most incredible hike I've ever done ... and I've hiked some pretty spectacular places. Would do this again ... although next time, I'd probably take the bus and start in Nocelle ... instead of hiking from Positano to Praiano.

My son(19)and I did the Walk of the Gods in December. The weather was perfect, the views breath taking and our tour guide fantastic. Maurizio De Rosa, our tour guide, was raised in the area. His knowledge of floral, fauna, landmarks and the locals made him the perfect guide. We sampled wild herbs, he spoke about the local community, we... More

This is a must do if you are in Positano. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It is definitely a great workout too. We will do this hike again when we return.

This is a lovely hike. The views are stunning, and in no short supply. We took this walk in January and we didn't meet anyone. I don't think I would enjoy it in the height of summer and tourist. We started in Positano. I took the advice of another reviewer and downloaded the Pocket Earth App. I strongly suggest doing... More

We hiked in January 2014 with 2 children (8 and 3, 3 yr old in backpack). It was gorgeous and we're so glad we did it. It is dangerous in spots so take care when hiking with children. We got off track at one point which was interesting but found our way back to the trail. We parked at Nocelle... More
