We were on a cruise ship excursion so we had little time to spend in Positano but we thoroughly enjoyed it there. It was very picturesque and the people there were very friendly. The small beach area was quite lovely. Would love to have spent more time there.

We used Positano Travelling twice while our stay in Positano. Genardo was our driver and he was excellent! He picked us up from the train station in Naples to take us to our hotel. He then took us to Rome once our time was over in Positano. He talked with us about the many sights while driving it was neat... More

Courteous, professional, friendly, and very willing to go above and beyond to help us out. I would recommend Positano Travelling without hesitation to anyone. Gennaro and co. treated my family and friends very well on our recent trip. There is no way I'd want to drive on the windy roads on the coast, the narrow streets in the towns, or... More

No need to rent a auto if your plans are to stay in the area. Almost everything is in walking distance. Some places are further than others but it is just great to walk and explore. You don't even realize how long you have been walking for.

Positano is a fishing village. A dream like village that cascades to the sea with its pastel colored houses. It's very romantic. Walk down the winding alleyways passing quaint shops as you make your way to the water's edge. Park yourself at a cafe and enjoy a tasteful lunch.

We travelled by Bus, Taxi, Ferry, Boat and private driver. We saw one accident when a scooter came around a curved too fast and crashed into a stopped car idling in a long line of traffic when two buses attempted to make the hairpin turn up the road a ways. You couldn't pay me enough to drive the roads of... More

I've been fortunate enough to have been in Italy a few times, but mostly to the north, Rome especially. Our first trip here and the mark left of us will remain forever. The picturesque village setting, the experience of navigating the streets, the goods, the people, the beach and lifestyle have been amazing. There are all price points here but... More

The greatest thrill on the Amalfi Coast is to head out for the open sea ... The best way to taste the seafood is to eat as close to the ocean as possible. The Path of the Gods winds up and down precipitous ridges from Agerola all the way to Positano. At every turn, there is a new and dramatic... More

Loved, loved, loved Positano. The dramatic views can only be experienced a description will not do it justice. Just a day trip - we took the bus from Sorrentto - go early it gets crowded later in the day. The day was right out of a guide book - we walked from the top and rode the bus back. We... More
