We booked an all day boat trip from Positano to Capri with this group after comparing them to others available on the beach. It was such a great day despite the weather not being so great. Chiara our guide was lovely and very informative. Quick ride to Capri with 4 hours to explore the Island. Ritzy in some places, not... More

Very interesting tourist experience. The day started with the tour guide Chiara and one of the captains arguing- but it was obvious it was off a personal nature. As time progressed, the 2 seemed to make up- not only the nice exchanges verbally but physically they were all over eachother . She sitting in his lap hugging, him playing with... More

I recommend this boat sightseeing tour to all! El Capitan Salvatore is knowledgeable, wise and just a pleasure to be in his company. We did this tour with our 9 year old daughter and she too had a blast!!! We also did the lunch option and had a lovely meal with terrific company. We still talk about this being a... More

On our last day in Positano we took the Amalfi Coast boat tour with Captain Salvatore. Salvatore was a great captain, showing us various sights on the coast the whole trip. We stopped to swim at a cave, it was beautiful. Then we stopped at the "kissing arch" or Elephant kissing rock and touched them for good luck! We drove... More

This was our best day- Hands down!! We researched many boat tours both on line and from the beach, and with the wonderful reviews and personable discussions at the booth and via emails, we decided to go with Gennaro e Salvatore. Our group of 6 decided on a private boat, as we wanted to do what we wanted, not what... More

My husband and I took the Capri trip in September 2014. L'Uomo e il Mare was recommended to us by the B&B where we were going to stay. I contacted Lara by email almost 2 months before our visit. We corresponded back and forth for those few months and she was excellent at getting back to me. She sent me... More

We took the tour while in Positano on San Giovani with Salvatore as Captain and "Master of Ceremonies". Can't beat the combination. Trip is all day (10 - 6), included drinks on board (water, soft drinks, beer and prosecco), towels, swim in one or more of the coves, plus a fabulous multi-course meal in a restaurant on the shore. Coast... More

We booked a day cruise to Capri with L'Uomo e il Mare a few days ago while visiting Positano, Italy. Overall, we were finding our trip quite expensive, especially since the Exchange rate for the Canadian dollar made every purchase actually 1.5x the cost. This tour, however, was the best bargain ever! Or experience began with Lara, the 1/2 British,... More

Staying in Praiano, we were offered the chance to meet the boat nearer to our hotel at La Praia beach. The boat arrived at the 10.30am as advised. There were 10 including my husband and I plus our skipper Danny. We were swimming in a cave 20 minutes later. There were refreshments on hand and everyone was getting to know... More

A wonderful day cruising the Amalfi Coast. Towels and drinks provided on board, swimming in caves and taking in the amazing scenery. For an extra 30 euro you can enjoy a beautiful lunch at Da Teresa, a restaurant only accessible by boat. The boat is small so you get personal service. Get away from the crowds and see the coast...
