Following Anna Rita's very informative and easy-going winery tour, the four of us settled into work with Rosanna to prepare our evening meal. She had all of us--husbands included-chopping, kneading, rolling, and stuffing--and laughing. We turned out fresh pasta with vegetables, 3 kinds of pizza, focaccia, stuffed zucchini, and wine cookies. Once prepared, we were escorted into the chapel dining... More

Having stayed in the hillside town of Orvieto for over 3 weeks, I was anxious to see the beautiful countryside that surrounded it, and I booked a cooking class with wine at the Decugnano Dei Barbi winery. It was a surprise for my husband, and it couldn't have turned out any better. The location is magnificent - one of the... More

These people are so kind and so knowledgeable not only about food and wine but about the history of the area. The food we learned to cook and pasta we learned to make turned out exquisite. Rosanna and Rita are a lot of fun and make a good team. The views are splendid. The wine cellar is full of fun... More

After an amazing tour of the winery with Anna Rita, my wife and I and four of our friends joined Roseanna for a cooking class, which ended in a memorable lunch. Our day at Decugnano Dei Barbi was the highlight of our week long stay in Umbria. Anna Rita and Roseanna are the best!

My husband and I took the winery tour and cooking class at the end of September as part of a 3.5 week trip to Italy. Anna arranged for a cab to pick us up from Orvieto, allowing us to enjoy the scenic drive to the winery approx. 1/2 hour away. We were joined by two other couples and were given... More

My family which includes 3 teenagers and my 73 year old mother and husband day tripped from Rome in April for this wine tour and cooking class. Ana Rita and Roseanna are extremely gracious hosts. The setting, wine pairings and food were fantastic and memorable. This was one of the more expensive tours we did (and we took plenty!) but... More

We had read good reviews so contacted Anna Rita, who responded quickly. The vineyard itself is stunning, as is the hall in which we ate the meal we had cooked. The kitchen area is small but immaculate. We loved what we learned to cook -- homemade pasta, focaccia, stuffed zucchini, and cookies -- and have continued to cook these dishes... More

Dear Triptos, thank you for your contribution. Our are traditional cooking classes and we highlight the simplicity of dishes belonging to the territory, the food has to match the wine and we like that whatever you cook with us can be cooked at home. The costs are high if the class is exclusive for two guests only, however considering a... More
