My husband and I found our way to this class through a recommendation from our agriturismo. We wanted a wine tour and cooking class, and this gave us both at once. The estate is beautiful, the instructors are knowledgeable and everything was delicious. We highly recommend this experience to anyone hoping to take in the Italian countryside.

This was an excellent experience for my wife and I. We are both very interested in cooking and love Italian wine and cuisine. This was a great way to experience both in a hands on setting. Anna Rita and Roseanna really made us feel welcome throughout the tour, cooking class and dinner. It was great to get involved with the... More

My wife and I so enjoyed our tour and Umbrian cooking class at Decugnano Dei Barbi! Anna Rita, our expert sommelier and guide, and Rosanna, our tutor, were delightful. The grounds and vineyards of Barbi are a paradise on earth. The wines produced there are superb and memorable. Our cooking class with Rosanna was instructive, expert, and so much fun!... More

Anna Rita was an excellent hostess for the tour and the cooking class. The winery tour was very informative and enjoyable. For the cooking class it was just the two of us, and we had a great time. We made (and ate) a variety of foods. We learned a lot of technique in the class that we hope to apply... More

Following Anna Rita's very informative and easy-going winery tour, the four of us settled into work with Rosanna to prepare our evening meal. She had all of us--husbands included-chopping, kneading, rolling, and stuffing--and laughing. We turned out fresh pasta with vegetables, 3 kinds of pizza, focaccia, stuffed zucchini, and wine cookies. Once prepared, we were escorted into the chapel dining... More

Having stayed in the hillside town of Orvieto for over 3 weeks, I was anxious to see the beautiful countryside that surrounded it, and I booked a cooking class with wine at the Decugnano Dei Barbi winery. It was a surprise for my husband, and it couldn't have turned out any better. The location is magnificent - one of the... More
