Enticed by the menu I stepped in for lunch - not realizing it's not a restaurant but an olive oil shop which has a kitchen. The antipasto platter was truly fantastic - tastes of numerous delicious items, many showing off the wonderful oil and other items produced on the farm and available for sale in the shop. A great stop... More

Loved the Olive Oil tasting! Everything was wonderful. We even shipped several items home and have enjoyed them already. Looking forward to going back again:)

I was on a daytrip in Orvieto when I found this lovely shop with great oil, wine and other products. Inside I was offered a oil-tasting and discoverded that their oils are great. The woman working there is so friendly and all the products are produced by her and her family nearby. You get your choosing of oils in bottles... More

the olive oil tasting was quick and easy. the young lady behind the counter toasted a few pieces of great Italian bread and drizzled olive oil and balsamic cream (not vinegar) so delicious!! I wished that I bought the balsamic cream since it is double the price here in the states and very hard to find. I did buy my... More

Like many other Orvieto tourists I went there with a purpose - tasting their famous white wine called "Orvieto Classico" which many say is one of the best white wines ever. When I got to Orvieto i was disappointed to find out it had been overrun with tourists which had turned it into a very commercial place. All the shops... More

Less than 2 weeks ago we were in Rome and had booked a guided day trip into the Italian countryside. As the result of stateside research and months of planning, we knew we wanted to go to both Civita di Bagnoregio and Orvieto, but we let our fabulous guide, Max, plan the rest of our day however he chose. It... More

We visited Bartolomei in Orvieto in 2011 and we loved the products especially the tartuffo olive paste! It's the best! The olive oil and the wine is also to die for - made in heaven! Now every year the wonderful Rita Bartolomei sends products to us in Australia. We cant wait to order next year's oil. We also look forward... More

People make all the difference and the young lady working the day of our visit was so charming, friendly and helpful. Her samples of freshly toasted bread drizzled in tasty olive oil were quite generous. Flavor was quite good, and prices very reasonable. Will definitely return.

We stopped in this lovely shop while searching for olive oil to take back to the US. The owner was gracious and charming and offered us delicious bruschetta with various olive oils, olive paste, and a delicious olive and truffles blend. There is also white and red wine for tasting. It was a wonderful experience and we only wish we... More
