Go there. Really good Nobile wine, Contucci is one of the major families in Montepulciano. More

Wines were very good. Reasonably priced. We were allowed to traverse the caves and cellars on our own. Only downside was we were not allowed to taste all of the wines (there were maybe 5-6), I imagine due to the large amount of tourists that they receive. More

Free wine tour and samples - how bad can it be? Lots of history, not much interaction More

Interesting to visit, no fee for the entrance and a taste of some wines at the end. Dont expect some big tour, it is literally open for visitors to walk around and look at the wine in storage but it is finished well with a taste of their wines which are lovely! More

We visited here on New Years day - also back in May of 2009. If you like Vine Nobile - these wines do not dissapoint. And neither does Adamo! Doesnt speak English but is very easy to communicate with. He's fun and knows how to sell a bottle of wine. He knows he's famoso in America - in the Rick... More

We visited Contucci for the 2nd year in a row. Last year we first visited as part of our wedding guest tour. The tour of the cantine was excellent, as was the wine tasting conducted by Adamo. All of our guests raved about the visit. For our first year anniversary - we returned and just visited the tasting room where... More

I loved the fact that we were able to wonder in off the main piazza and walk through the cellar and see all the big barrels. The owner, Adamo, was very friendly and poured several wines for us in the tasting room. I purchased two of my favorites (which I assume are now being enjoyed by the security lady at... More

We wanted to purchase a bottle for our dinner that evening and all the wines we tasted were great! Beautiful place with interesting articles about the family and their wines. Definitely make a stop here! More
