I visited this spa for a new years day concert of classical music. It was a free concert in a magnificent stone classical building. I am not aware if there are any spa treatments available. The concert was highly popular with some people not being able to get seats. in fact there were so many that some had to stay... More

This Spa is one of the best known in Italy, renowned in particular for its waters. We spent one week in November and after a Spa doctor's visit decided to use the breathing therapy to boost lung's strength before the winter and the thermal pool to improve blood circulation. The breathing therapy was a pleasure, well organised and easy to follow.... My husband and I recently did the couples spa relax package at Excelsior for 80 Euro/person...so total 160 Euro. It included 1 hour in the sauna / steam room / shower / relaxation area and then a 50 minute couples massage. There was a drinking fountain in the steam room but it didn't work - and neither did the hand... More

When visiting Montecatini we book the full mud and thermal package at the Excelsior Spa at 110 Euros each. During the treatment you have two sessions in a hot tub type thermal bath, in the second session the water was more presently warm and before the attendant left she asked if I was OK which I was, within minutes my... We spent a wonderful half day just walking around the buildings, drinking the water, listening to the restful music and people watching. Very restful and invigorating.

The Tettutcio Spa at Montecatini Terme is a "must visit" attraction when visiting this beautiful spa town in Tuscany. From 8am, you should pay your Euros 15 and drink at least 4 cups of the different spa waters, either cold or warm. This is designed to cleanse your liver and other organs. At 8.30am, there is a pianist who plays... More

Huge spa. Quite nice to visit. Beautiful building with lots of al frescoes. Very relaxing! Huge bar inside as well. The Spa is quite reachable by walk if you are staying close to the Grand Suisse Hotel at Montecatini Terme. Watch out for evening events as they tend to do lots of things inside the Spa building. Worth to visit!

Wonderful place. So serene and majestic. We were there in May/June , so probably much quieter than in peak season. Absolute feast for the eyes! Beautiful architecture; fabulous marble, and wonderful marble depictions of the seasons. At four o'clock, you can have a free drink of the spa waters. The place is set in lovely gardens. You could spend a... More
