Its a wonder to see and an interesting concept , how in the old days it seems many things could be cured by just drinking special mineralised waters. Well off people came here for their " cure" The architecture is a sight to behold full of columns , fountains, gardens and palatial spaces . There is a grand cafe ,... More

The spa is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It was built in the 17th Century by the Romans and in 1920 was renovated into the spa it is today. Definitely worth a visit. Our choir sung here at the Montecatini Choir Festival.

モンテカティーニの名産のお菓子で是非紹介したいのが「チャルデ」。 ゴーフルみたいなお菓子。 これは、イタリア人の間でも人気のドルチ。 ぜひ一度食べて見て❗️ There is typical sweet from Montecatini area, called ' CIALDE '... This sweet is like Gaufles and popular also between Italians.. Please try this if you have chance !

Enjoyed a very well organised musical evening with 2 singers and a pianist. The champagne reception was very welcome and the extended encore in the foyer was exceptional

After reading so many glowing reviews on the spa I decided to take my 17-year-old daughter with me for a massage. We made a reservation for a 3 o'clock massage and when we arrived at 1:30 we were told that the spa does not open until 3 o'clock. The receptionist suggested that we return at 2:45 so that we could... More

If you walk through the park you arrive at what appears to be an old Roman ruin. The buildings are beautiful and the springs and even the coffee room is spectacular. We did not use the services but we were told that they were numerous and had a application for almost any ailment. It is worth the walk just to... More

My wife and I were on tour with Collette Vacations and stayed 6 nights in Montecantini, taking day trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. Each night we would eat at a different restaurant. It is a town where you can walk to most places and everyone is very friendly.

This is a beautiful place. Old Montecatini is a beautiful small old town with amazing views. We stop for a nice lunch at Casa Gala, a nice restaurant in the main square of Montecatini Alto. The main town is very nice and very elegant. The spa was lovely, regret not spending more days as it was very relaxing indeed.

Montecatini is lovely place between Pisa and Florence. If you have a car terrific area to see Tuscany. Lucca old town a must and just all the place to visit less then 50 min drive away. Old Montacatini defenitely not to be missed for the views and the old town.
