Molveno is wonderfully picturesque mountain place with this fabulous lake. Around the lake you can walk, sail or just simply sit on a sunny bench with book and enjoy. Definitely super calming and powerful experience among these high mountains.

Lovely lake which isn't overcrowded. The car parking isn't very expensive. The restaurant accommodations (or what ever will supply you some food & drinks) is limited.

Stayed here for 2 weeks, wasn't boring for one bit. The lake itself is really blue, the water temperature is perfect. The mountains make the whole place look like a dream come true.

We booked a hotel in Molveno as part of our 2 week holiday in Italy. It was last minute as we decided to reduce out time in Milan. We were so happy with our choice and wished we could of stayed longer. We arrived outside of tourist seasons. The views are amazing. We took the gondola up the mountains and... More

Just a perfect place for anybody. Young, old, fit, adventurous or lazy, really anybody can find their thing at Molveno. Beautiful picturesque little town by a crystal clear lake with Brenta Dolomites hovering above. Summer months might be crowded but September was not. You can walk around the lake, take a paddle boat on, bike or take a gondola up... More

I took to cable car and then the lift to the top. The views at both stops were amazing. As everyone stated the temperature on top is much chillier, so be prepared. It was a clear day that allowed a perfect view and wonderful pictures.

What a beautiful area. The scenery is amazing especially with the mountains as a backdrop. Make sure to take the gondola to the top and go for hike. Alternatively take your bike, as I did, and ride the superb mountain enduro trails. The town of Molveno is clean and well kept with good local restaurants and coffee stops. Try the... More

Up above the road and you'll find this charming lake surrounded by mountains and a little village... Oh what a paradise on earth! So calming and relaxing..... Took the funicular up to Rifugio Pradel and yes..... I got enchanted by its beauty! The view from up there is simply heavenly! Worth a visit!

Molveno is a spectacular lake set in the mountains high over Lake Garda. It may be a bit crowded in summer but once you have find a car park (not difficult in a paying park) you go on the lake side that is a mix of green lawn and course sand, with lots of tree shade and play activities. Then... More
