We chose the tour after a rainy morning. The sun came out and shone on this fascinating farm, and our hosts Eugenio and his parents. We had limited time so only completed the first third of the tour which was of the lemon and olive farm. It was great value for 15 euros each complete with samples of home-made food... More

Please don't miss this tour! These people are warm and wonderful. It was the absolutely best thing we did while in Sorrento. The lemon farm, the cheese farm and the pizza making all beautifully combine to make for an informative fun day. Eugenio was a gracious host and everyone was very warm and friendly....don't miss this tour!

ElGenio! ElGenius! Warm, friendly, down to earth and incredibly pleasant people. ElGenio made us feel welcome from the moment he picked us up. The farm itself is approx 15minutes drive, tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Sorrento overlooking the ocean! Showed us his farm, from agriculture to animals (Maria Maria, the amazingly captivating pigs!) We then had a lovely... More

I visited the farm when on holiday with a group including 4 wheelchair users. Upon being greeted with free baseball caps to wear in the blazing heat, we were treated like family. The farm is a little uneven to say the least, but it wasn't a problem getting the wheel chairs around ( good job Eugenio is a tug of... More

This was an amazing day. There was a large group of us (23 Canadians) and we were treated like family. The tour of their farm was very interesting and amazing - they make use of everything. The olive oil, wine, cheese and limoncello was the best! The pizza making was a blast - it was a wonderful day!

Amazingly our first time visit to Italy brought a trip to La Masseria 1898 Farm Tour. The thought of food and drink was just too much to resist. Upon arriving at the family farm we were greeted by all the family headed by Eugenio who spoke almost fluent English (much better than my Italian!) After a short introduction we were... More

We have been to Sorrento several times but had somehow missed this tour before! What a fabulous visit from start to finish - we felt we had experienced a real slice of Italy and loved meeting the family and all concerned. The tours and demonstrations were really interesting with plenty of opportunities to see the beautiful farm and to try... More
