Having been to Italy four times (and having done my fair share of both touristy and non-touristy excursions), I can easily say that this was one of the most memorable, authentic experiences I've ever had in the country. As with many other reviewers, Eugenio (Manager and son of the family-owners) picked my husband and I up at our hotel in... More

Eugenio provides a wonderful, detailed look at the traditional farm that has been in his family for generations. Though La Masseria is primarily a lemon grower, they also produce olive oil, wine, tomatoes... all of which you can see and taste on this tour. His family are friendly, charming hosts, and the "tasting" and lunch at the end of our... More

We had a lovely visit to this family run farm and would totally recommend it to anybody. We were made so welcome, had a really interesting tour and then treated to homemade lunch using the farm produce. A real Italian treat - perfect price too x

I cannot recommend this tour enough, especially for those who really have no idea what lemon growing is about! We learned a lot of interesting stuff about a typical farm in the Sorrento peninsula, we had a great tasting session (olive oils made on the premises, lemons & lemonade, wine, limoncello, tiramisu with limoncello and a great tomato salad), we... Eugenio picked us up from our hotel and we felt like part of family straight away. He's really friendly and welcoming person like the rest of his relatives. It was amazing experience to see people work place in which everyone is smiling. Eugenio showed us farm and and answered all our questions ( even those on which probably sounded silly).... More

We visited the farm whilst on out honeymoon 2014. Everyone was lovely and very welcoming. It's a family run business and everyone gets involved. The tour of the farm was great and the lemon trees amazing, we had a demonstration on the making of mozzarella which included plenty of sampling and had our first ever experience of limoncello. Wow! The... More

The farm trip was wonderful. The insight to the industry very interesting. The farm sweet. The food afterwards simple and homely and compliments to the mother. The host is engaging and intelligent and entrepreneurial. It is a grand and engaging 2 1/2 hours. It is definitely industry and agri focused, obviously. All in all very nice and informative insight to... More

My girlfriend and I visited La Masseria farm and it was one our highlights of a 10 day Italy holiday. Eugenio, the tour host is really warm, engaging and intelligent person. He has taken his families' traditional farm and their techniques and recognised an opportunity to create a tour for people visiting the area. The farming techniques that visibly stretch... More

A real farm growing lemons and olives and a really delightful Italian family to show you round. Very friendly, very authentic. They make their own olive oil, Limoncello, marmalade, wine. Their lemon oil is divine. I used the whole bottle in about 10 days. Eugenio collected us from our hotel and took us back. The tour lasted about two and... More
