I was a solo traveler visiting Italy for the first time. I speak very little Italian and was looking forward to seeing what agriculture was like in the region of Campagnia. With so much history and culture relating to food I was very excited. I was staying in a BnB in Naples, and was using public transportation to get around.... More

Wonderful visit to a working farm! Eugenio, the oldest son, accompanied by his dad gave us a wonderful tour of the farm. Very knowledgeable, charming young man fourth generation farmer. After the tour we tasted delicious bruscheta, oil flavored by lemon and orange, wine and limoncelo made at the farm. Maria, the mother is a very good cook! We really... More

This was a fantastic visit, and only 20 Euros, we could not believe what we were given. A guided tour of the family farm overlooking the bay of Naples, and then beautiful wine, oils, limoncello, tiramisu, quiche marmalades, honey..Eugenio showed us around and was hilarious, we had such a great time. His mother Maria is an amazing cook and the... More

It was a great insight into a genuine family farm. Eugenio and his family were so welcoming and informative, with a tour of the farm and home cooked treats. Some of the best food and drink we tried while in Italy, and even the kids were entertained! Thoroughly recommended.

We met the family in Schiazzano village party when we tasted their Limoncello. We came back to visit the Masseria Farm since we wanted to buy Limocello bottles. Don't hésitate, it was the best we tasted. Eugenio, his mother and father were here to explain the recipe and the making of their products. Of course, you can taste all of... More

Really fascinating tour of La Masseria farm in Lubrense - a rare insight to the workings of this 6 acre family-run farm which grows mainly lemons and olives but other produce too. Eugenio picked us up from our hotel and drove the half hour to the farm chatting easily in English with us all the way. When we arrived we... More

My husband and I visited La Masseria Farm a couple weeks ago on a Gastronomic tour from Joe Banana. This was our last stop and the best of the day! The family was just getting ready for the olive harvest. We were given a glimpse into the life of a 3rd and 4th generation Italian farm family. We learned how... More

We booked the trip to La Masseria through our hotel and by guests who had already been to visit. It was such an enjoyable three odd hours. We were collected at the hotel and taken to meet the family, who were most welcoming. We learned a lot about how the farms in the area differ from, say, Tuscany, They squeeze... More

We booked this trip the night before on a whim - and so so glad that we did! Eugenio collected us personally from our hotel and drove us to his family farm where we had the pleasure of meeting his mother, Maria and his father, Ferdinando. We were shown around the family's 6 acres of farmland - lemon orchards, olive... More

We're not sure why we thought a farm tour was a good idea on a rainy day, but we wouldn't have missed this for the world! Eugenio and his parents are the 3rd and 4th generations of their family to run their farm of 800 lemon trees, olive trees and many other types of fruits and vegetables. The family was... More
