We got the ferry at Malcesine, a lovely pleasant town on Lake Garda. It's a great place for photos. I went to one of the best ice-cream shops ever; it was on a corner just before going down to the ferry terminal. There was an amazing choice of flavours. The ferry was clean, punctual and well maintained. It made stops at... More

Very pretty town, very interesting to explore with an old castle and museum. If you climb to the top of the bell tower you have splendid views of Malcesine and if you take the cable car to the top of Monte Baldo the views over Lake Garda are great. If you love taking photographs Malcesine is a photographers delight.

My wife and I took the ferry from Riva all the way down the lake to Desenzano which stops at 11 different towns and villages on both sides of the lake along the way so in our opinion its the ideal way of seeing the whole of lake Garda. Its15 euros each which considering the distance travelled and it takes... More

. There are many different types of transport you may use when on holiday but the Lake Garda ferries are one of the nicer, more relaxing ones. Lake Garda is a very large, beautiful lake and one way to get around and see it is to get the ferry. It can take a long time to travel the length of... More

You have to try the ferry to get around the lake particularly if you are going to the opposite shore to visit Limone - we'll worth a trip. It's a bit expensive but gives you unique views of the lake and mountains and is a leisurely way to get around.

9-Euro return by boat from Limone to Malcesine is a must. Malcesine is the best of the towns to the north of Lake Garda then take the cable car up to Monte Baldo for 15 Euros (senior) or get a combined ticket beforehand for 20 E.
