Climb up to La Rocca and find a great view and several sights. Tip: wear shoes/sandals and not flip-flops.

We took off for our walk at 10:15am on a summer day... We had our walking shoes on and loads of water. The walk up was ok and before you know it you're at spectacular views over Cefalu. Along the way there is explanations of the buildings and other interesting sites that are in Italian and English. We were satisfied... More

We picked an early morning to make the trek up La Rocca and I'm sure glad we did. My small group is all fit and enjoyed the walking climb but I can see where it might be taxing later in the day's heat or if you went up without water. There are improved steps up to Temple de Diane but... More

Probably the most effective attraction during our stay in Sicily. It was more or less 40 degrees that day and the climb was breathtaking at some spots... but every step was worth it! The views from the top over the whole Cefalù bay is astonishing! Its when you realise how beautiful the town is, the sea like nowhere else we've... More

The trek up to the top was a really hard walk, but the views are truly stunning. Take plenty of water as we went up it early in the morning.

You pay 4 Euros to begin with but don;t shy away from it! t is really worth seeing. And doing. I took it as my "exercise day" climbing that hill. My mistake: I was wearing the wrong shoes! Make sure you use proper sandalds or trainers - rocky patches! The view is spectacular!

A not-so-exhausting walk up the rock rewards you with a 360° view of the north coastline. Most impressive is the birds-eye-view of Cefalu old town. Start in the morning to avoid the hot summer sun.

A good way to spend an hour or two but go up when it's not too hot and bring water. Great views and a nice breeze!

We live in a country wher ther smallest hill is called a mountain. So: climbing 200 meters on a walk is a rarity for us. This is very rewarding, both for views and archeology
