We stayed in a villa along the coast for a week and had a rental car. Drove into the hills of vineyards every day and visited 16th century towns Wonderful people, wine and views.. Wish we had a month. I would recommend you go!

... but unfortunately so does everyone else! Don't let that put you off though, people are nice and friendly, and the Duomo is something else.

After a few summers this was our first winter in Cefalù. We had a great time!! It's a lot calmer in winter but that's one of the good things. We had a totally different experience than we had in the summers and are even more in love with beautiful Cefalù than we allready were.

If you have time, its worth a stop to see a nice seaside town. Very scenic to walk around here. I probably wouldn't stay here unless you were planning to do water activities for a few days.

The approach to Cefalu is quite overpowering. Our driver stopped at the top of the hill so that we could look down and see the enormous rock with the delicate little town that seems to snuggle into it. The streets are very narrow and filled with upscale tourist shops. There was a smattering of tourists - it was mid-October -... More

Even if you don't go here for the beach it was a pleasant place to walk, have lunch and spend several hours. Although a small town there are Medieval streets, Roman baths and a large Cathedral. My photos really speak for this lovely old town and coastline.

Cefalu cathedral is fabulous and old town interesting, also enjoyed spotting place where Cinema Paradiso is filmed and this is very pretty part of the coast, but worth detouring inland to the National Parks.

We visited this coast in December, so we didn't do the Beach thing. But we loved walking along sospinge up the sun. The water is so nice and pretty , and views abound. We had planed on doing some climbing but it rained during the night so we slept late
