We spent a lovely afternoon in Cefalù. After visiting the glorious Cathedral beautifully situated in the Piazza under the looming Rocca, we couldn’t resist climbing the latter. As we ascended the panoramas over the town, coastline and sea became ever more spectacular. There were fine views of the geometrically shaped marinas with the scenic peninsular to the right. Back at... More

The water was perfect, and there were many fish to look at when snorkelling. The sea was also very warm.

Cefalu is just a delightful place to visit, and the beach and shoreline complements and compliments the environment. When we were there, a kite festival was taking place on the beach. We have never seen such impressive kites, and what a setting!. Obviously Cefalu wants to show off its assets, and the beach and shoreline are some of the best;... More

After coming back from Sicily, I am so pleased I made right decision to stay in Cefalu for few days rather than Palermo. Dont be wrong, lots people like the capital, but just I prefer little Italian towns and Cefalu is one of them. Touristy only means well developed for travellers which in Sicily is great thing. Easy to find... More

We drove from Agregento to Cefalu across the centre of Sicily. We had been disappointed with Southern Sicily due to the badly maintained infrastructure and the amount of trash just dumped by the road side. Once we saw the beach at Cefalu we knew that this is how towns and coastlines should be kept. The water is clean and clear,... More

We traveled from Civittavechia to the village of Cefalu, very nice views and the village or rather a town is also really nice, for sure a place to visit. Lost of shops, small bars and restaurants, For people with walking problems maybe a bit hard, as the sidewalks are not in good shape and it goes a lot up and... More

The coast of Cefalu is a wonderful place to relax and slowly stroll along either the Lungomare where the main beaches are, or alongside via Candeloro toward the light house, or 'Al Faro'. The lungomare stretches a good half mile from the city to the end. There are plenty of places to stop and sit while enjoying the site and... More

A very picturesque village with sandy beaches and green hills around. We walked through the narrow streets filled with little shops ...and found the most beautifully painted pottery. There's a beautiful byzantinian church overlooking the main square where we sat in one of the cafes and had some delicious gelato. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Cefalu has a lot to offer. The coastline is beautiful and the there's a promenade along the water that makes for a nice stroll. The duomo is very interesting as well! The city itself is full of quaint streets all lined with shops and restaurants!! Would love to go back!!

There is so much you can do and enjoy. There is all the history on the old part of the city; beautiful with its narrow streets with cute restaurants and stores; there is the more modern part of the city if that what attracts you and there is also the long and beautiful beach. From Cefalu you can take a... More
