My Mother and I attended the cooking school at Tenuta Casanova. The owner, Silvano, picked us up at our hotel, Reserva di Fizzano, and drove us the short distance to his property, giving us a guided tour of the area. We had a tour of his wines, balsamic, as well as his blooming rosemary bushes and lavender plants- all a... More

We were brought here as part of a day trip with Just In Tuscany tours and had lunch. The very, very attractive guy who runs the place (Carlo) is obviously passionate about what he does and this care shows in the presentation and effort which went into their food and wine. My 13 year old son said this lunch was... More

This small organic winery is just beautiful! The owners , Silvio and Rita are very warm and friendly. Silvio started us off with a tour of the organic farm with bees , wild pigs, and olive trees. Then the small winery and balsamic vinegar operation. Very interesting and the vinegars we tasted were excellent. Then on to the cooking school... More

Myself and 7 friends spent the day here taking Rita's cooking class and then enjoying the vineyard and eating all our hard work. It was absolutely fabulous and although Rita doesn't speak much English, her very handsome sidekick Carlo was there to translate for us. We were cooking for about 5 hours, drinking the splendid wines produced here. Half our... More

Tenuta Casanova was recommended to us by a couple we met at our hotel. We booked lunch and a tour the next day and figured it would be a nice way to spend the day. It exceeded out expectations by far. When we got there we were greeted by the owner Sylvano and let us walk around his farm and... More

This was our second trip to Tuscany and one of many wine tastings and tours that we have done. This, without question, is the best we have ever experienced. Everyone at the winery is charming, the wines are wonderful and the food is the best meal we had during our entire 3 week trip and we ate at many fine... More

Rita and Sylvano have build a great farm, winery, and home, and luckily for us, are willing to share it with tourists. The cooking class was a great full day experience, and we shall not forget it. If you have the time, don't miss this "home made" food and chance to expand your knowledge of this famous region. Thanks from... More

We were picked up from Florence, whisked off to Siena to spend a few wonderful hours wondering about and then went off to part we were most waiting for: the wine tasting and dinner. The people were interesting, the scenery beautiful. The balsamic and honey/apple, and the food was amazing. A once in a life time experience from a film,... More

I arranged with our Riserva to participate in a cooking class at Tenuta Casanova. What a fabulous experience. It was a full day of preparing and cooking then eating. I purchased many products, and have enjoyed sharing them with friends back home. My only regret is not shipping some home!! However, I plan on ordering.

On our very recent trip (August 2013) to France, Switzerland and Italy, we were staying in Florence and by per chance arranged a tour to Sienna and the Tenuta Casanova St. Agnese Winery. It was the highlight of our holiday and one of my lifes holidays highlights. The host and staff were sensational as was the surroundings, the food and... More
