The girl who gave our tour of the winery was nice but not very knowledgable about the process of making olive oil or wine. Yet, the incredible lunch and wine tasting with magnificent views made up for that disappointment. Also, my son... More

My family , husband, 12 year old son, sister in law & husband had the most amazing experience! We enjoyed our tour. We tasted balsamic vineagar. And yes, even my12 year old loved the taste of the balsamic vineagar. Silvano and his wife prepared a lovely lunch with wine pairing to boot. We had a chance to taste his truffle... More

I would strongly recommend a lunch and wine tasting at Tenuta Casanova, during your visit in Tuscany. If you have some more time, reserve a cooking class :)

Our visit to Tenuta Casanova Winery was especially enjoyable. It is a 77-acre organic farm that grows all of it's own grapes for wines, balsamic vinegar, and fruits and vegetables. The owner, Silvano, explained the wine and vinegar making process, and provided tastings prior to a delicious lunch with several courses. Every course, paired with a wine was delicious! Definitely... We visited Tenuta Casanova a couple of weeks ago and were given a brief history by Silvano. We then sat in a lovely shaded terrace and had the wine tasting which included a small tapas style snack which was adequate and complemented the wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting which was presented by another person, not Silvano. In fact... More

Great way to start the Dayana it tends to get too warm in the afternoon. The pairings are incredible and lunch is quite tasteful.
