Having seen some pretty spectacular Diocesan Museums around Le Marche this was a bit of a disappointment. It's small and contains few objects of real interest. They do try to make the best of what they have by theming it but this takes a bit of imagination and a generous spirit. Worth a look but don't expect too much. Long... More

Slightly hard to find, but through the archway by the tourist office in Piazza Arringo, then round to the right and up the grand staircase. Wonderful collection of art works, historical items, furniture et cetera, recreating I suppose the atmosphere of an aristocratic palace. One item that has British associations, is a 13th century cope, originally donated to Ascoli duomo... More
