we arrived at the Casa on Sunday at about 3 pm, the gates were locked but no sign or notice to say why? Another family had also just arrived and left disappointed. Was it a one off? Was it not open in low tourist season? It would be helpful if they up dated their tourist website. It looked like a... More

The house is accessible via public transportation and is nicely set not too far from the Mediterranean Sea. There are lots of documents displayed, related to Pirandello and his family, various objects kept over the years, from when the house was inhabited, including an antique vase from ancient Greek times. Outside, there is a long alley towards the place where... More

set on a promontory, the house and grave are readily combined with the trek to the temples. check schedules of house, as they change . bus service from the temples is erratic. cab may be needed.

Visiting the house in which Luigi Pirandello was born needs time. You will retrace the history of his family through the family photographs and have the opportunity to read some of Pirandello's writings. Don't miss reading his last will before visiting the place where the urn with his ashes is buried.

we had time, so drove out to this little house to learn a little more about Pirandello. If you don't make it, you haven't missed much.

Pirandello's home is a major stop for all those who have read his books , enjoy the view, the shimmering sea and the scents of the Mediterranean, the jasmine and all the other flowers. Amazing corner of Sicily Pirandello as saying: so if you think it is

Before your trip to Sicily, you should buy a DVD of "Kaos", a miniseries for Italian tv, contained in one disc. It is beautifully filmed and will make your trip all that more interesting.

This house was very interesting and in a lovely coastal location. The garden was closed which was a little disappointing and the café looked like it had not been used for some time. Huge car park. EU money in the wasting.

many pics, many books, good view. Long time ago I decide to visit Agrigento, but visit the house of Pirandello, maybe the best experience of all our travel.

The place is a little difficult to find--right down near the sea. The house presents letters, contracts, photos, etc. from Pirandello's life. A pleasant and informative place to visit.
