In May 2013, I used Sicily Travelnet for a one day private shore tour of Taormina and wineries of Mount Etna. The driver was very professional and the price we paid was reasonable for all we saw and did in the one day. So this year, I was trying to again use them for another shore tour. But this time... I was truly amazed at how well this day trip was planned. Staying there ONLY one day didn't give us much time to see everything, however, thanks to this tour we had a chance to visit all the gorgeous places in Sicily. The tour guide Luca knew exactly what he was saying and he made the trip all the more... More

Through Trip Advisor I came across Michele Gallo's Tours and I surely wasn't disappointed. Arriving in Pozzallo from Malta, we found our driver/guide Luca waiting to take us on a day tour visiting lovely towns like Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Noto, Donnafugata Castle,Donnaucata and more. All this came at a very reasonable price and Luca turned out to be very... More

We came to Sicily(Catania port) by Equinox cruise ship. The tour which was organized by Michele was really good, and we are still under deep impression because of that. We went to village named Castlemolla which was about 1 hour from port. That village is at the top of the mountain. All the way to Castlemolla was very beautiful view and paysage. The village... More

Michele Gallo coordinated our entire 12 day tour around Sicily, from Palermo to Taormina and many places in between. He coordinated drivers to and from the airports, drivers from city to city, and guides for each city and drive. Every tour guide and every driver were timely, professional, extremely knowledgeable, personable and accommodating to our needs. We could not have... More

Needed a short, Eastern Sicily tour so the tour offered by Sicily TravelNet was great. We did not think to ask how many people would be on the tour so were, to say the least disappointed to fine there were 52 on the tour. However, the worst was the the very poor communication from Sicily TravelNet. It was like puling... More

My wife and I visited Sicily in May and hired Michele for two half day tours - one in Agrigento and one in Sciacca. In both instances Michele provided great context, local flavor, and historical perspective, The first was a visit to Valle dei Templi - one of the best preserved Greek archeological sites in the world! Michele's knowledge of... More

The company arranged for a wonderful driver to take us to 2 wineries on Mt Etna, and the visit at each winery was wonderful. However, communication with the company/scheduling was problematic as they did not respond regularly to emails. In addition, although we had been told there would be 3 wineries, since our tastings took place on a Sunday, many... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our tour . We are glad that you found our driver and the visit to each winery wonderful. We exchanged 18 emails. Although at the beginning you wrote that you were going to arrange your own visits when you asked for our help we were able to arrange the 3 wineries. On... More

We booked a one day tour of the filming locations of the Inspector Montalbano series and had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Luca, was firstly a good, safe driver (sometimes a worry in Italy), and the car was immaculate. Since he both lives in Noto, and had appeared in some episodes of the series he had a very complete knowledge... More

We did a tour of the Valley of the Temples with Michele Gallo who made the area come alive for us. This morning tour was definitely a highlight of our time in Sicily. Michele is so knowledgeable and interesting and we were sorry when we needed to say goodbye. Plus he recommended a restaurant to us where we had the... More
