Dolphin watching was something I had never done before and thus I was looking forward to it eagerly. Whales and dolphins inhabit Oman’s long and varied coastline. Gladly, one does not need to go far, dolphins can be spotted in the azure waters of Muscat at the Marina Bandar and thats in the city. I would say we had a... More

The place was closed for renovation. There wasn't any live specimens seen. They ought to have a proper aquatic museum... Its about time!

It was OK as this aquarium has such beauty idyl creatures but such small tanks. I have heard PDO is going to build a bigger better one.

Called the number listed for this place but the phone was never answered. Visited the place today to check it out and was informed that this is closed since a few weeks for renovation. It isnt expected to be open in the next 6 months :(

|A really enjoyable trip although the dolphins are small its worth the trip we were lucky to see a lot of them and it was very enjoyable to watch them as they are so elegant and after we were taken on a tour of the coastal area. A Friday is a day to avoid as it is extremely busy especially... More

Absolutely wonderful. A must visit in Oman otherwise the trip is not worth. Have your lunch / breakfast before reaching Marina Bandar since there is only one costly restaurant. You get a free access to pool if you order anything at the restaurant.

I don't know if it has changed since i was there several years ago but the place was in a terrible condition then with very few fish in the dirty tanks. But this is Oman...sadly. It was a fantastic place when it first opened, I bet, but sadly... no maintenance. i really do hope things have changed and newer visitors... More

The place is small compare to its title. It will take you to less then 15 min to walk all over the place. In addition its place is very far from the excitement place.

Went there years ago when it first opened. They had a hot fingered octopus who spotted one of the children eating at 2 meters away. Out came a tentacle at the speed of light and lo! The item was snatched. Is it still there? This place news some finding and is not on general sites about what to see in... More
