This was truly a wonderful experience. The cable car trip is so AMAZING. The scenneny is breathtaking and just when you think you have climbed as high as the car will go , it goes up at a very steep angle to reach the other side. The Temple area is beautiful with many nice souvenir stalls along the stepped foothpath....

If you are travelling in Nepal, ride in Manokamna cable car and white water rafting are highly recommended. On way from Kathmandu to pokhra, you can stop by and enjoy 24-26 kms of white water rafting, with a mid rafting, hot and steamy lunch break on the banks of river. We took the cable car ride in early November, as we were travelling in a private car we hadnt to endure the queues to get on. In the day in question we were the only tourist to have taken it, its well worth a stop off if your travelling to Kathmandu. The views are second to none and the village...

Visit to Manakamana in a cable car is a very good experience. A cable car can accomodate six pax at a time. It takes about 15 mins to reach the temple from bottom station but takes only 10 mins to come down. Going higher and watching the spectacular surrounding landscapes from there is very exciting.
