Been popping in the Peregrine every week on my way back from Cape Town, I'm not usually a yogurt and muesli type of person, preferring a more traditional bacon & eggs - BUT I HAVE BEEN CONVERTED. I don't know what came over me to order it in the first place, but now I've been so spoilt, it's so utterly... More

Having stopped off here a month earlier while passing through on a business trip with a colleague, I was keen to stop off with my wife this time en route to Hermanus. On the first visit, I was delighted with the vegetarian burger on offer (patty made from lentils). This time I ordered carrot cake, and my wife had the... More

A busy yet lovely restaurant. The home made pies are really delicious, we had chicken and springbok with gravy which was really really good. The hamburger was wonderful - we love medium to rare patties which is exactly what we got. Do also try the freshly pressed apple juice, well worth it. Service is fast.

A little oasis on our way from Cape Town to Knysna. We stopped here for breakfast what a pleasure the food was good and the staff friendly and efficient. Lots to buy at the farm stall as well. Highly recommended

If you're looking to have a break on the N2, this is a good spot to do it. There is a restaurant, take away section, bakery and shopping area. Dogs and kids can stretch their legs as well. Coffee is very good, and the springbok pies are our favourite. What is surprising though, being in the heart of apple country,... More

Read about this farmstall in the news and wanted to go and check myself how good it is - I must say it`s a pitty I waited "so long" to experience it. I don`t know the old one before the fire but the recent set-up, choice, service in the restaurant ... the whole place is awesome!

As local Cape Townians we do not often travel the N2. On our way to the Eastern Cape we decided to stop there for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise! Spacious, clean, well-staffed with friendly and obliging staff. The most delicious and freshly home made foods, pies, cakes, breads etc. Feast your eyes and palate. Definitely recommended.
