If you're looking to have a break on the N2, this is a good spot to do it. There is a restaurant, take away section, bakery and shopping area. Dogs and kids can stretch their legs as well. Coffee is very good, and the springbok pies are our favourite. What is surprising though, being in the heart of apple country,... More

Read about this farmstall in the news and wanted to go and check myself how good it is - I must say it`s a pitty I waited "so long" to experience it. I don`t know the old one before the fire but the recent set-up, choice, service in the restaurant ... the whole place is awesome!

As local Cape Townians we do not often travel the N2. On our way to the Eastern Cape we decided to stop there for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise! Spacious, clean, well-staffed with friendly and obliging staff. The most delicious and freshly home made foods, pies, cakes, breads etc. Feast your eyes and palate. Definitely recommended.

This farm stall has been going for years and I have been visiting it for at least 20 years. It still has the best pies (try the springbok pie), the tastiest quiches, and the creamiest milktart. Quick quick easy to fill two baskets of mouth watering farm produce, wine, cheese, bread. Oh my god the bread. The restaurant attached is ok and the craft beer very good. Well worth a 2 hour drive from Cape Town.

Peregrine has always been a nice-to-stop place on the N2. Now it's become a NEED-to-stop place. We stopped for lunch on the way back from Hermanus. I had probably the best chicken pie, chips and gravy I've ever had. Home-made and full of chicken and so tasty. We'll be back for sure.

Loved my experience at the Peregrine . The food was extremely tasty and very nicely presented . The prices is fantastic for the quality of the food. Only negative part is the slow service but then where in the cape does one get service
