It is really in the top 5 beaches of Crete, definitely a must! Don't be freaked by the downhill hike, its not as bad as it seems... but do be careful and try to have proper shoes. The water is amazing, crystal blue, u will not regret it.

Difficult assent downhill but well woth it - turquoise waters and a secluded beach. Better if there is no breeze since waters are crystal clear - when its windy it becomes like a waterpark ride as the water from the sea fills in the canal. Shoes, water and an umbrella are a must.

Fabulous beach with great swimming (and fantastic waves funnelled in from the sea): beautiful cliffs all round and a small but very pretty beach. The downsides? Well, it's a SHARP pebbled beach, hurts getting in or out of the beautiful water. Worse still, the steep path(s)--there are two--from the car park to the attraction are in parts DANGEROUS. In several... More

I must admit that getting down to this beach freaked me out. It's a steep drive to the parking. Then the hike down was very steep and narrow. My DH and kids seemed fine with it though. Once on the beach, it was heaven. The water was gorgeous and rocks beautiful. My kids enjoyed jumping off the rocks into the... More

Getting to the beach is an adventure itself, a bit scary though. It's in the middle of nowhere and the road there is really steep. Also walking down the cliff is quite hazardous so don't wear your flipflops. Bring food, umbrella and something to drink. We went there on a Sunday and it was quite crowed. It's small, trashy and... Four years ago it was a small beautiful beach with only a few visitors. In summer 2015 I saw something completely different. It is still small and beautiful, but now it is full of people. If you are looking for a beautiful scenery and cool waters for a swim, this is it. Bring your sneakers or your least slippery shoes... More

A lot of people, a lot of dirty, a quite difficult way to go down also if you ware traking shoes! It was a paradise but when the "tamari" began to let sand to go down to the sea more than alf of the fiord was closed by the sand. After one or two years all will be full of... More

Magnificent views - well worth the way. Seitan Limania beach - unique experience in the heart of Crete. Some points to know: It might get busy during the high season and especially during weekends. However, you get to meet the locals. It is not easy nor suitable for little children Make sure your rental car can climb the steep road... More
