a beautiful bay

When you tour the region of Chania sure to go to a beach and tantalize you to get down to it because it is beautiful! Do not pity feet

Seitan Beach is located on the eastcoast of Akrotiri. Seitan is a little idyllic beach, and the beach is not overcrowded. The accessibility is very arduous.

Visited Stefanos Beach few weeks ago with bunch of friends, our flight departure was at 7pm so we decide to spent last day at this lovely place. I is only few kilometrs from Chania airport, very easy to get here. It is not a easy way down or up, but definetly worth of trying. Water is very clear. If someone... More

Seitan Limania is one of the most unique beaches I have ever seen. After a long drive down the mountains, the small parking area reveals a promising view over the bay. "Satans harbour", as it's called by the locals, can only be reached by a descent through the rocks, which makes it unsuitable for small children or the elderly and... More

Better come prepared for the steep inclines on your way to this cave somewhat off the beaten path. It was once a secret but a lot of people know about it now. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out for sure, even if you don't make the climb down to the beach itself, the atmosphere and surroundings alone... More

After enduring the crowds at Elefonisi, we wanted to find a more secluded spot. It was hardly empty (there were about 50 people on the beach), but Seitan Limania was exactly what we needed. It's an absolutely gorgeous spot- with delightful water and dramatic scenery. It is not terribly easy to get to- which for us just added to its... More

This beach is unique place in the Crete island, exelent for its spectacular scenery and high cliffs, where you can climb and jump off, besides it is deep enought to dive from high altitude. Its 30 min drive from Chania and you have to climb down abot 5 - 10 min from parking place. Remember this place is not for... More

If you dont mind heights then this little cove is a must. A bit of a drive to get there on bendy rough roads with a drop at the side!! But its worth it. A little walk down and a hike up so trainers or decent footwear a must. The sea is a lovely blue and the beach is small... More

C'mon guys We have achieved it as a 3 and 6 and 12 y/o children family. I was a little bit uneasy about the auto we parked upstairs. If you have bags or towels with you and let them alone at the beach tide can be an issue after 16:00. No w/c. No restaurant/bar. No simply nothing there... Pure beach.... More
