It was a sentimental journey. We all have loved the cheese for so many years but now we also love the place. The setting is superb and the cheese is sheer delight. The tour around the facility was a bit superficial but does it matter so much for a true Roquefort lovers like us?

We went to the papillon caves as this is our favourite cheese. It is well worth a vist and the cheese is fab. Tells you all about Roquefort cheese and how it was made in the beginning so history as well

An interesting guided visit, if a little smelly (but we expected that). With a tasting session at the end in the shop. Learnt a lot about how to eat this blue chees under ideal conditions.

A well organised tour and tasting of the famous sheep's cheese. The guide was very informative and well informed. The tasting generous with the opportunity to buy at less than the local shops. The last tour of the morning did not leave time to read all the history but it is appreciated that at this time of year it was... More

Much more informative for people who understand French but for other languages, they hand out one paper with basic information of the caves and cheeses but nor really directly related with the tour, so you don't learn much which is a shame. In terms of the place itself it is nice and cold but nothing extraordinary neither the cheese itself.... More

A very pleasant tour of the caves with information on the whole process. The tour is in French, but an excellent English written guide is provided. Nice sampling of cheese at the conclusion.

One really needs to drive especially to visit this place, therefore one must be an amateur of cheese. The cave visit was ok. The guide lady was very kind and charming and only in French. For other language, she will give you some explanation in paper. We didn't really see any real cheese, neither the process of production since it... More

One of the biggest and oldest cheese factories of roquefort cheese, recommended for people which love and find cheese exciting. suitable for the whole family, nice staff and delicious cheese tasting at the end. Need to check in advance when is the tour, takes place only when group is full.

We really enjoyed this tour. It was entirely in French so we were give handouts to read at various points which I think covered the main points. It is a brilliant little tour which lasts about an hour and includes a tasting session at the end! It is a bargain too at 5 Euro per person. The caves are cold,... More
