Congratulations to the conglomerate which owns and markets Cloudy Bay wines. Depending on preference all of the wines tasted could be deemed outstanding. The setting is beautiful and the staff super friendly/ knowledgable. But to maintain the brands standing do you really have to charge anything up to $20? Please review this policy so that more people have an opportunity... More

Cloudy Bay vineyard is located in Jackson's Road in the heart of the Marlborough wine region just down the road from Allan Scott winemakers. Cloudy Bay is one of my favourite NZ wines & I was hanging out to try a few wines. There are different costs related to what wine tasting you want. However; you do get it back... More

Having drunk Cloudy Bay at home it was great to visit the winery. We were made to feel very welcome and tasted a selection of wines, some of which you can only get directly from the winery. A really good visit.

Brilliant wine, nice hosts, lots of souvenirs, awesome location. Oh, did I mention how good the Pinot Noir is? I purchased several candles and have received many complements on the room fragrance they create.

We had a personal wine tour with Rachel who was such a joy and an amazing connoisseur on the local wines and wine in general. We did a full wine tasting from bubbles through whites to reds , enjoyed a few local platters and enjoyed the back yard patio as well as their fireplace lit tasting room. Brought our kids... More

There are three options for their wine tasting each costing a different amount. We went for the $15 option because we wanted to try the late harvest (we got $5 back with purchase). The woman serving us was friendly and full of good information about their wines.

Very very beautiful sceneries around the winery, nice setting and a very lovely yard, we ordered goat cheese which was very nice. Only thing which I didn't rate them 5 stars was that the wine tasting staff, though not rude but I can't help feel she was reading a script, no passion and just want to finish the process. Unlike... Great location and gardens. Very well run, great deal of space and seating to enjoy the tasting experience. Fabulous sparkling wine, a knock out. Earlier review about paying., so what, you are on holiday. Suppose you asked to take the dregs away with you. No more CB!! More for me...

We spent 4 days visiting 14 wineries, and thoroughly enjoyed the welcome, people, ambience and of course the wines from the Marlborough region. Cloudy Bay however, notwithstanding the obvious investment and slick operation, was the only one where we left feeling disappointed, and buying only bottles rather than cases. You had to pay for tastings, felt like you were being... More

Nice setting and rather distant team who work behind the counter. Having visited several cellar doors earlier in the day where there was no charge. to come to one of the largest and find you had to pay $10 for 5 wines was VERY diappointing - surely they can afford to do tastings for free - I will never drink...
