We were really looking forward to lunch at Quail's gate but a little disappointed with the seating, however our own fault for not making a reservation on a sunny Saturday. Nevertheless, the food was delicious and paired with really nice wine. The whites really are delicious. Service was a little slow but that suited a lazy afternoon.

Took my visiting sister in law to the winery for a wine tour. We both really enjoyed it, our guide Curt was very knowledgeable and funny. We were only 6 on the tour so we got to visit the wine library. It pays to go during the week, not so busy and we got a more personalized tour. Great time,... More

Well laid out, large attractive winery. Large attractive tasting room with beautiful view of the lake. Large upscale looking outdoor restaurant...would have gone if we didn't have our dog with us. Ample parking. We had truck and trailer.

Quail's Gate winery has been a long time favourite of mine. The winery itself is lovely and the staff are friendly and very knowledgable. I always learn something about wine and they are patient and helpful with any questions I might have. They make my favourite BC red wine, Reserve Old a Vine Foch, rich and full bodied. They also... Wow, what a way to end our Canadian trip. The food was excellent, the view was superb. The wait staff were delightful and friendly. The setting was idyllic, with panoramic view of the lake, vineyard with the barren backdrop of the hills opposite and let your imagination run wild and transport yourself to Tuscany. We sadly were unable to return... More

We did the drop-in $10 wine tour instead of a group tour of >$100. Tour was ok. Start to finish about 1.5 hours with pre-selected wine tasting included. Wine tasting at the bar was good, but the bar area for the tasting was very busy. Was going to stay for lunch but $24 hamburger seemed a little expensive. Bought half... More

Beautiful grounds, excellent wine tasting facility, friendly. Wine is excellent. The best restaurant in the city! Food is to die for!

this restaurant is not worth your time. Food and setting do not offset impudent service. We were served two hours after seated. After 1 hour we were told food would be coming. To make matters worse the waiter discretely took our wine before done. The service is not acceptable for an average restaurant. Makes one wonder if the ratings are bogus.

This was crowded and unspectacular. Wine was fine but tasting fee left us feeling meh. More fun to the south
