Making great wines and providing a special place where people can enjoy them has been my dream and my life's work. Now, it's a reality, one that my family and I want to share with everyone who visits us high atop Mission Hill. We hope you'll think of our winery as a refuge from the hurried pace of daily life. We invite you to experience the nature and art of winemaking by walking our lush on-site vineyards and visiting our underground cellars. Sample fine wines by the glass, marvel at the vista and reflect on a process that's almost as old as time itself. We look forward to welcoming you at Mission Hill Family Estate. As part of a business group we had a tour of the winery, and then dinner. The grounds at mission Hill are exceptional, well kept, and full of very interesting architecture. Our tour started with a video about the history of the winery, then included the underground room where the barrels of wine are stored, then up to the wine... More

It was our first visit to Mission Hill Estate and it reminded us of the wineries in France with the manicured lawns and the architecture, sprinkled with sculptures in all corners of the property. We'd heard a lot about this place and went to discover it for ourselves. For photography, it was wonderful but when we walked into the tasting... More

A must see on any wine tour, the grounds are just beautiful and so unique. The wine tours are very interesting and fun, and kids are allowed on one of them.

If you're a fan of architecture (particularly European), you'll love this winery. I'd been here a few years prior and haven't really made a point of purchasing their wine since (I'm no wine connoisseur, so don't take my word on that part), but I remembered it being breathtakingly beautiful. I went back this fall and was stunned all over again... More

If you can prebook or preplan go on one of the more comprehensive tours with a sommelier. At least include a tour of the winery underground. This winery is a one of a kind and is certainly the last stop as no other winery can top it for beauty and awe. Personally we like the wines at other wineries better... More

Dreadfully commercial. A fabulous building and gardens but caters to bus loads of tourists. Just over the top - ugghh!

Although our group isn't that into wine we decided that we should finally visit Mission Hill. It definitely is worth a visit and next time I might even book a wine tasting tour just for the experience. The gardens, amusing and creative sculptures, beautiful music piped throughout the grounds and stunning vistas truly make this winery in a league of... More

If you do just a few of the Wineries of the Okanagan - this one at West Kelowna should be on your list. In line with the best of New Zealand's Marlborough region wineries, Mission Hill is well put together for a visit and / or lunch. It's a beautiful property in a spectacular position. And just like NZ, it... More

We actually planned to have lunch at a restaurant on the way west from Kelowna, but that bell tower was enticing so we ventured off the highway. You arrive at Mission hill through a massive gate structure, park in a shaded lot, and stroll up past the vineyards to the semi-circular gate. The grounds include the winery/tasting room to the... We took the ($12) tour, finally (we've been here many times). Luanne showed us around with confidence, humour, knowledge and class. This place is worth visit, inside and out. The architecture is spectacular. The wine we had was nothing special. The good stuff is expensive. The store is first class with excellent wine-related choices. We hear the winery's owner is... More
