A great place to view all sorts of plants. Very good facilities for children as well as the elderly. Very good variety of attractions throughout the year. Easy to get to from Central London using the District line. more

I enjoyed everything about the gardens from the tropical plants, to the amazing collection of trees, to the indoor pond full of water lilies. I absolutely will be returning the next time my husband and I go to London. It is easy to get to using public transportation. A MUST SEE for anyone who enjoys gardening. more

We live quite close to Kew and visit the Royal Botanic Gardens a lot, and each time I go there I find something new, and I'm struck by what an amazing place it is. It is tranquil and awe-inspiring, as well as feeling like it is well-frequented and alive. The people who work and volunteer there really have gone out... more

Kew is excellent and fdeinitely worthwhile - even if you have no underlying interest in the subject. Would suggest that January is a bit dull other than the greenhouses - but the people are excellent and so enthusaistic - highly recommended more

We planned on a visit to Kew from many a recommendation. It was expensive to get in but there is so much to see. In fact we didn't get round it all! Still the gardens are beautiful especially in the sunshine as we experienced them. And then there is the treetop walkway, statues, fountains, glasshouses and temples. We also observed... more

Kew Gardens is not a garden.. Think of it as a museum of plants. The real pleasure is in exploring it in an unguided way- where you will find some very strange things in deed. Not just plants. A couple of art galleries too. more

Beautiful garden. I was there with my family at the end of April - the garden at that time of the year is so nice! We spent a wonderful day. We took The Explorer (the tram) just because of the kid (4 years old) - if you want to see everything you won't need it. There is an offer 2... more

The garden was nice but not worth 13 pounds. To top it off, the tram would cost 4 pounds extra and a GPS was another 5 pounds. The garden didn't have alot of useful signs so made it difficult to navigate. We were in circles. The Queen's Cottage was very disappointing. Also, there were lots of plants but not enough... more

The entry fee is pricy but it's worth it. You also need to purchase tickets to the tram or you will never see half of it. I did think hampton court had better gardens but the greenhouses were pretty. more
