Kew Gardens is not a garden.. Think of it as a museum of plants. The real pleasure is in exploring it in an unguided way- where you will find some very strange things in deed. Not just plants. A couple of art galleries too. more

The garden was nice but not worth 13 pounds. To top it off, the tram would cost 4 pounds extra and a GPS was another 5 pounds. The entry fee is pricy but it's worth it. You also need to purchase tickets to the tram or you will never see half of it. I did think hampton court had better gardens but the greenhouses were pretty. more

We visited Kew last weekend. Very Disappointed. I would never describe Kew as Gardens. Were are the hibacius borders Rose Gardens Fruit trees and bushes Vegatable gardens. Examples of wild flowers. more

Kew Gardens although lovely, I don’t feel is worth the £13.00 entry fee. Yes the glasshouses are lovely, but when comparing it to Regent’s Park as an example, I felt that it was a bit of a rip off. Strongly recommend visiting these gardens - a wide range of flora to view, from all over the world. Particularly a lovely day out if you go from central london on a boat trip up to richmond, and then walk to Kew. more
