Wonderful quieter seafront for dog walking

Lovely beach lots of nice dogs and owners. The Commodore Hotel welcomes dogs in it's bar. A useful carpark on your left as you come down the hill, opposite the hotel.

Well what a surprise see past the dated decor and you have tidy clean warm chalets (best nights sleep I had in a long time), 5 star entertainment, excellent staff and first class food. Look forward to going back again. They are doing a refurb but that didn't affect us.

A large beach with scrub grass, sand and plenty of space. Very popular with dog walkers. There's a car park at each end and a drive along the sea front between the 2. It's fun to take the Crossville open top bus from Weston to Sand Bay along the coastal old toll road. The public loos didn't seem to be... More

A good stretch of walking beach and Headland, at the very top, with dramatic views, out into the sea. There is a cafe and pub in the local and 3/4 parking areas, with toilet facilities at the far end. Many people Dog walk and promenade here.

I'm going to be biased here as I have lived in Sandbay for many years in my family home. Yes it can be a bit windswept and bleak, it's a couple of miles of sand and stone beach. One end is Weston woods which is a great playground with long paths for pedestrians and bycycles, long dune covered beach upto... More

Plenty of free parking. Great for dogs and walkers alike. Wrap up warm during the winter months as it does get cold.

It's a quiet lovely beach with rocks for the kids to climb over, plus national trust walks" best thing is no shops or amusement arcades

Have always been very fond of Sand Bay, peaceful and if you have a dog wonderful walks. very long sandy beach, fish and chips in the summer and the most glorious sunsets and only five minutes from Weston. give it a try.
