Nice place to walk, you can take dogs on the beach and there is a picnic area at the far end. The beach is clean. There is a tea room, though I've never used it so cant comment.

If you enjoy walking then head to Sand Bay and Sand Point. A beautiful little place with a wide expanse of beach and salt march depending on the tide. Sand Point is the spit of land that sticks out into the Bristol channel just above Sands Bay. You will need walking boots as the going can be a little tricky... More

My family and I are regular visitors to Sand Bay. What makes it special is there are no distractions like arcades, shops and the like which are common in Weston super Mare itself. Just beautiful un-spoilt surroundings, a lovely beach to walk our dog on and a certain "rawness" about the area. In this ever increasing godless world, it is... More

Lovely quiet Beach, which is sandy rather than muddy or pebbley like the neighbouring ones. Perfect for dog walks, it is nestled in between Weston woods at one end and a saltmarsh at the other end which runs along side a National Trust area of interest of Sand Point, a peninsula that sticks out into the sea (also great for... This is a location rather than a tourist attraction. Apart from walking along the beach there is not very much to do here. The beach is not the prettiest in the country either with the south end a rather ugly salt marsh. Sand Point at the end of the bay is a nicer walk or you could walk out to... More

Sand Bay is a short journey from the main areas of Weston, travelling the coast road through the woods is enjoyable, even more fun to take your bike on the path at the side of the road in the woods, though this may be a bit extreme for the more gentle rider. I have used the area several times as... More

We walks from the woods above weston along a big trail that leads you through the remains of a stone age fort then you pass a fun adventure park in the middle of the woods, don't miss it its worth it! After this carry on down the road to the monks steps that take you down through a church yard... More
