Friday 19 June 15, We drove up to Nanstallon to visit The Camel Valley Vineyard. When ex-RAF pilot Bob Lindo and his wife Anne planted their first eight thousand vines in 1989, they never dreamed of the phenomenal success they would achieve within two decades. They had brought their farm in the heart of the Cornish countryside several years earlier,... More

A glass of award wining wine in the summer sun after an interesting, witty and highly informative tour-blissful! Well off any form of beaten track but well worth a visit.

On a glorious sunny day , overlooking a vine covered hillside, in the Camel Valley, Cornwall , we sipped an excellent glass of vintage sparkling wine. This was the start of an hour long tour around the vineyard which was fascinating and informative. The tour starts with the vines and finishes with the bottling process and then a delicious sample.... More

I enjoyed the visit so much I returned the following day on foot along the Camel trail to enjoy another glass of wine and see the Vineyard again. The tour of the Vineyard and cellars was most interesting. We returned home with two bottles, one Camel Valley Brut and one Cuvee Raymond Blanc Rose Brut, Both excellent wines; we also... More

Rainy day visit to Camel Valley Vineyard in Bodmin, Cornwall was a treat! Their IWC trophy winning 2012 Pinot Noir Rose Brut was delicious and reasonably priced. Their shop is nice stocked with friendly staff who will allow a tasting sample. We purchased a few bottles for our return to the Caribbean. Wish directions and signage had been better placed.... Made a quick visit on the way home from a holiday in Cornwall. The area is beautiful and tucked away making you feel miles from anywhere. The sitting area has a small terrace and grassed area perfect for sitting enjoying the local wine The wine itself is perfect and not over priced.

Staying near St Austell for a few days, we had planned to go to the visitor centre of St Austell brewery, but when we saw a brochure for Camel Valley vineyard on a fine day, we decided to go there instead. It was not the easiest place to find, up and down narrow lanes very far from the main roads,... More

Visited this vineyard for a tour during May. We arrived about 10 mins before. There were 6 people on our tour which was made it quite an intimate tour. The tour guide was very informative and gave us lots of information, the tour includes the vineyards and the area where the wine is made. Afterwards we all had a glass... More
