During our recent visit we dutifully followed a friends recommendation to visit the vine yard having been told that the award winning sparkling wine actually beats champagne, I have to say that we were not disappointed. We spent a lovely couple of hours basking in the Cornish sunshine on the veranda near to the tasting room sampling some of, in... More

On a sunny day sitting on the veranda by the tasting room with a lovely glass of fizz in your hand, life does not get much better. The only downside is my lack ability to not buy 6 bottles of the stuff before I leave making it one of the most expensive attraction in the area!!!! If you haven't discover... More

I went to a wine tasting there with some wine-loving friends. It was an interesting tour. The guide, who was the assistant wine maker, was extremely knowledgeable. She took us through the wine-making process, answering all our questions competently. She also gave us a history of the vineyard and how it was all started by the family and how it... More

How lovely & refreshing to be sat overlooking the Camel Valley with a glass of Cornish Cuvée Rise Brut!!! Beautiful setting & interesting as there was a great deal of information on how the vineyard started & grew into the successful business it is today...We did not take part in the wine tour (this I think was charged at £7.50... We booked the basic vineyard tour and turned up at the appointed time in blazing sunshine. The staff welcomed us, and then, eying our bike leathers, helmets etc. they offered to look after our gear while we took the tour. It was a great relief to be able to leave our gear somewhere safe rather than lug it around with... More

We stayed in one of the cottages here last week and thoroughly enjoyed the time. A great place to unwind and enjoy the fruits of the labour put in all around you. The Grand Tour on Wednesday evening is a must and Bob's infectious enthusiasm makes the tour just that bit more special. A passionate insight into the last 30... More

We always visit camel valley vineyard, and the wines are world class, give all other wines a good run for their money, reasonably priced and generally welcoming, except on 23/06/14 to say the female in the shop area was moody is an understatement, needs to learn some basic customer service skills, as she was abrupt and borderline rude, but if... Thanks for your review and it's great that you are a regular customers and enjoy our wines. I understand that you were disappointed with your level of customer service and that you discussed it with a senior member of staff. While not defending it in any way, the previous review praises the 'incredibly friendly staff' and we've had a talk... More

We planned to visit Camel Valley at the end of our Cornwall break as we were heading north and it was the perfect end to our holiday... Stunning scenery and beautiful buildings really brought the place to life. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the wine is simply delicious - well worth tasting as many as you can (I... More

We took part in the grand tour and tasting on Wednesdays. The tour itself lasted for about 45 minutes with tasting afterwards lasting another 45 mins and further questions answered to the group there. The vines were demonstrated to us at different stages of maturity and we were later shown their processing facilities with a bit of background as to... More
