It was recommended we went and very pleased we did. Considering it's out of season and the place looked shut as they are currently expanding, we were delighted by the hospitality we received. The guy who met us on arrival was fab. This is well worth a visit and interesting (wine is nice too!!)

If I want a treat I go to camel valley and drink champagne (well British sparkling wine) on their patio overlooking the vineyards. Romantic and peaceful. I just wish they would accept dogs as its on a dog walking trail. Dogs not welcome. Not kid friendly. But I still love the place. Would be 5 if dog friendly.

Thanks, I'm very pleased that you love it here and find it romantic and peaceful. It's our home too and exactly the ambience that we try to create. As you know, we can get very busy, with a full terrace and garden. We get 29,000 visitors a year, so you can imagine the number of dogs we would have on... More

Stunning views! We stopped off briefly whilst cycling on the camel trail and ended up staying most of the afternoon for the tour! It's a very relaxing place to sit back and enjoy with a glass or two of excellent wine!

We visited on a morning of heavy rains but were greeted with charm, a great welcome and smile. The wines we tasted were superb and the range wide. This is a real jewel in the South West producing world class wines and which hosts visitors really well. A must to visit to taste and to buy.

We stopped at this Vineyard as we cycled along the Camel Trail and were thrilled with the find (if not the little uphill cycle to get there!). Even in November we were able to sit on the terrace and try the different wines... mostly fizz for us... and they were all lovely. A great, small, British businesss and lovely stop.... More

Biggest tip, do the Wednesday night wine tasting event. It is worth every penny of the £15. We had the great pleasure of getting a tour from Bob the owner, who's passion and warmth is seconded to none. Honestly I couldn't think of someone better to do the tour. The timing was perfect as the harvest was due to start... More

Just of the road from Wadebridge to Bodmin, this is a special place. You would be excused for thinking you were in Champagne. The quality of the still and sparkling wine is beyond expectations so be prepared-it is difficult to leave without buying. They also have accommodation.

I now understand how Camel Valley Vineyard wins all of those awards. The bottle that came back to the US with my in my wheelie keeps calling to me, but I'm saving it for my step-daughter and her husband for their baby's 2nd birthday. - a Rose celebration for a gorgeous little girl's parents.

Visited this great vineyard last night and had a really enjoyable time. It was a super October evening and after an entertaining tour wrapped up with wine tasting on the terrace with a glorious view. Our tour guide and owner of the vineyard told some wonderful yarns and is a natural talker! We can't recommend this place enough, and their... More

My friend and I visited for the 5pm tour and arrived a little earlier and dat on their amazing terrace overlooking the vines and wonderful scenery drinking a glass of their Rose champagne. Bob, the owner arrived to take the tour; he showed us around the vineyard taking us to some vines and sharing some great stories with us. He... More
