A tour of this vineyard is not to be missed if visiting North Cornwall. The setting is idylic and beautiful whilst the wine produced is sublime. The owners enthusiasm and passion for growing and making wine is wonderful whilst the explanation of the processes followed by tastings is just marvellous.

Fantastic view and wonderful wine. Shame the lady serving was rather miserable and rather unwelcoming. We would have bought some wine but her attitude put us off. Fantastic vineyard though..

Very good afternoon tour booked, make sure you get there on time so you don't miss out! Really interesting to hear about the Camel Valley processes and grapes. Sparkling Rosé was a favourite of mine... may have bought a few bottles!!

We took the big tour wednesday night (cost GBP 12.5 per person). It was held by the owner and though the group was quite large we had a great feeling of belonging and information share. Admitted that some of the things said would shock winemakers in the "old world", maybe the awards were a bit over emphasized. But the whole... More

Travelling from Scotland we have made a regular visit to Camel Valley Vineyard part of our annual holidays after making our first visit to any vineyard several years ago. On our initial visit we took in the tour, unsure what to expect and a little apprehensive as to whether our lack of knowledge on the winemaking process would be apparent.... More

4 of us, all mature adult locals from Cornwall visited the winery today - all of us were regulars. 'Were' being the operative word here. We had our golden retriever with us and conscious that dogs were not allowed, we left him on his lead tied to the sign about 200 yes from the winery - but just in view... More

We don’t take dogs and you make it clear that you knew that, and yet you chose to walk past several 'NO DOG' signs with your dog, and then tie it to the 'NO DOGS' sign about 30 metres from the winery. There is an additional notice on that sign saying 'No exceptions – resident Labrador about.' It’s also made... More

Sitting on the terrace in the sunshine, with views across the vineyard, tasting the Camel Valley wines.....a delightful way to spend some time with friends. We really enjoy their sparkling wines and take great pleasure in introducing others to them. Highly recommended.

Our only regret on this occasion was that the evening tastings were all booked up. However, the afternoon tour was very interesting, led by the assistant wine maker (who wasn't at all geeky!), and the glass of wine included in the tour price (fizzy for an extra £1 charity donation) forced us to buy another 3 bottles (couldn't fit any... The tour was very interesting and well thought out, taking us through the different stages of the wine making experience. The only downside of the tour was the guide was very softly spoken and so we struggled to hear quite a bit of the information. Was great ending with a glass of sparkling wine whilst looking over the vineyard though,... More

Went on the tasting tour at Camel Valley. Tour was given by the owner of the vineyard, he had some very interesting stories and facts and was very funny. Followed by the tour we did the wine tasting - they were very generous with 5 samples (2 sparkling, 3 still) and all very nice, particularly the sparkling rose. The views... More
