As we have been using this venue for over 10 years hosting events from seminars to dinners we were very disappointed with the food and service we received this year for our client Christmas lunches at this venue. Since the change of management we have noticed the lack of pride and service overall, even our clients noticed and made comments... More

Having recently rejoined the HHA, decided to visit Adlington Hall on the Bank Holiday Sunday. The weather stayed fair, which meant we were able to enjoy the gardens at length, including the rose garden, with lots of late roses still in bloom and our dog, Oliver the Black Labrador, loved the Wilderness walk. Oli was made so welcome (as were... More

I recently attended an event at Adlington Hall and Gardens and I cannot recommend the venue enough. The Hall is stunning and the gardens are truly beautiful. The food was gorgeous, and the staff both waiting on and managing could not have been more attentive. The venue is set in the middle of the countryside, and you get a real... More

Meal ok but not great and not great value for money. The Decore was ok but sorry to repeat myself but not great and the staff did not appear to be enjoying their work.

Beautiful grounds with lots of nooks to explore. The only dissapointment is the tea rooms which served a very poor afternoon tea. The scones and cakes are all shop bought and very unappetising, such a pity as it could be as wonderful as the grounds. Still worth a visit.

Last Saturday afternoon we attended the'Music for a summer afternoon' concert at Adlington Hall, mainly because we had never been inside the Hall only attended functions in the Hunting Lodge. What a delightful surprise. Gordon Stewart, the renowned organist, gave an excellent performance on the famous Adlington Hall organ, and we had a cream tea in the interval. Pity about... More

I've attended more than one wedding here and one even which did the service here. Great grounds for photos. Lots of parking. I've also been to many of our works staff dos here. The Hunting Lodge which caters does a buffet meal which is plentiful and tasty. The staff are pretty helpful and friendly though I've never been impressed with... More

Adlington Hall's core business these days is clearly as a wedding venue, conference centre and the provision of dinners for largish groups of people, so if you decide to visit, don't expect it to be "visitor-focused" to the degree that is the case in National Trust properties. But the hall and grounds are now open to the public from mid-April... More
