I love this park and walk through it daily but the dog owners have no regard for those who aren't dog owners. Dogs are off their leads, they are running all round, you couldn't walk off the paths as you wouldn't know what you are walking in. All this and next to the dog warden!

A very beautiful place to visit and take a walk - rolling hills, beautiful trees. A place of reflection. Great place for taking pictures.

We were spending the day in Bangor and on the advice of the lady in the travel agent we headed to the castle park. Being there for only a short time it was hard to explore it fully but we did have a pleasant walk through the gardens into the walled garden where several families were having picnics by the... It's still a lovely place, but has become muddy and run down....I love the old trees etc but it seems as if no one cares!

Lovely walks and well worth a visit if in Bangor, when there plenty to see and do - nothing to dislike about it especially if you get a good day.

I walk through Castle park every day to get to the train. Its beautiful and very varied. The walled garden is at the back and definitely worth a visit. i just wish they would sell some plants, i.e. vegetables, flower plants to the public. The Museum is very inetersting although small and has lovely links to China. Grand wee cafe... More

I often take my dog for a walk in the park, it is a wonderfully peaceful and safe place. The selection of trees is spectacular for somewhere so close to the town centre, and has two coffee shops now right on hand at the museum and walled garden both of which are lovely attractions in their own right.

I dont go here much and when I do I wonder why. Its just outside of town (and not far from my front door) and its lovely, nice and peaceful and always magpies and squirells about the place. If oyu just take once of the short paths I'm amazed at how differnt types of scrub/trees there are. Its surprising how... More

Beautiful park with excellent walks, nature trail and a great variety of flora and fauna. Bangor Castle Town Hall is situated in the Park also Heritage Centre which boasts a little museum and excellent restaurant and gift shop.
