This is a really nice place to walk away from the hustle bustle of the town centre. It has a lovely walled garden with nice plants and sculptures. There is good parking and it is also very close to Bangor railway station and bus station if you are arriving by public transport.

Large stretch of parkland next to the Town Hall building on the edge of Bangor town centre. Close to bus and train station and nearby shops. The Heritage Centre museum and cafe is nearby

I was walking from the town to the Walled Garden and marveled at the trees and peaceful green area I was walking through. It was glorious and not to be missed. The trees are huge, and ther is a ton of room to roam and be thankful you're alive.

At Castle park today in Bangor. It was still early but a wonderful warm morning with the trees rustling and the birds singing. What more could you want? Well I'll tell you. A walk up towards the end of the park behind the castle, near to the new aquatic center brings you to the walled garden which is stunning! There... More

We have gone there with our two dogs who - whether off or on the lead always stay close to us. I've read a comment from one person (dated last year) to say that the park was used as a dog's toilet'. Not by ours!! and we have seen others, like us, who diligently lift anything deposited by their animals... More

Nice park for short walk. Usually walk through here and grab a coffee at the walled garden. Some parts obviously used by teenagers as drinking dens (as kids do). Great place for birds and squirrel if animal lover / photographer.

I love this park and walk through it daily but the dog owners have no regard for those who aren't dog owners. Dogs are off their leads, they are running all round, you couldn't walk off the paths as you wouldn't know what you are walking in. All this and next to the dog warden!

A very beautiful place to visit and take a walk - rolling hills, beautiful trees. A place of reflection. Great place for taking pictures.
