Unlike many golf clubs today there seems to be little enthusiasm to encourage visiting golfers. It wasn't possible to play a half round in the depth of winter unless i paid the full green fee(my wife is not a golfer) and split it into two rounds, there is no longer an arrangement with the neighbouring hotel and once I had... 5 of us played in brilliant sunshine, and calm winds. Members all friendly, pro shop excellent, bar staff friendly and helpful. Lovely views, and well kept clubhouse. Good views over the course from the balcony.

Just returned from Aberdovey GC. What a fantastic place to stay and play golf. The accommodation is good, (don't hear the trains too much). You can travel to the GC via train which would be a great experience. GC food, service great. Pro's shop extremely good. In fact we had such a lovely time we are planning to go back.

What a fantastic course this is a real gem a good opening hole of over 400yards into a wind is a real test stay out of the rough because it is tough a great link's course with risk and reward holes some tough holes the last three are fantastic the clubhouse is very friendly and welcoming a real must for... Had the pleasure of playing Aberdovey Golf Course with my brother to celebrate his 50th Birthday in memory of a promise our Grandfather made when we would holiday with in the area in the 1970's and whom we vowed to play with one day but sadly were never able to do so. The course was a challenge to us, both... More

This has to be one if the best links courses in wales. Traveled down from chester for a round off golf with a friend we got a great warm welcome from the pro shop and also the members! Breakfast in the club house is a must before tackling the course. Make you you have your thinks cap on to plot... More

The Course is undoubtedly one of the finest links in Wales and we were treated thankfully to a fairly calm sunny day. On a personal note the fairways were too narrow for my game but three of our party of 14 did break 30 points in our stableford comp. The greens were excellent but not super fast . Great welcome... Just played this nice little links course - really enjoyed 17 holes, one hole unfortunately has almost been lost to the sea! - has its share of tricky holes - and i imagine if the wind picks up this could be a real challenge! However £50 for a round? bit pricey when you consider the courses you could play for... More

This is a very traditional links course - well worth playing. We played in an open competition and it was excellent value and not too difficult. As an added bonus they served first class cask beer!
