We didn't know that entries into the show / battle / attraction were timed. We were seduced by the effective publicity into visiting but then couldn't get in for about a couple of hours because the timed shows / demonstrations were all booked up. Disappointing; and naturally we didn't wait. Best to book online in advance. We used the on site... More

Well presented in a park type setting. It is located near Stirling and can be viewed in a limited amount of time. Easy walk for those with mobility impairments.

My husband and I absolutely loved this Centre. We thought it was going to be for youngsters but that was not the case. Do not leave without playing the battle game either!

arrived at 12 for the 12.20 tour which we had just prebooked. told we were 10 mins too late for the tour and would now have until 14.00. the guy before me in the queue had just been let in. all very disorganised. thankfully we hadn't paid as we are NT members. can't work out why the website insists you... We are very sorry to read this review and have taken the matter seriously. We have spoken to our staff who were on duty yesterday. There clearly seemed to be a misunderstanding with your booking and the time you thought you had booked. In an attempt to ensure you did not miss out our Staff member did explain the situation... We arrived at opening time- 10 am. It was very disorganised from the start. We were told to wait and we'd be shown in in 10 minutes- we waited and eventually had to ask again and got show into a '3D' video which had already started. The video was more for children than adults. We were then showed into the... More

We are sorry to read that you were disappointed by your visit. Our exhibition is a timed entry and we are concerned that you were not given our full attention. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and at no time should you have felt rushed. Our 3D experience is on a loop and therefore you should have been given... More

Visited the new exhibition after the 2014 anniversary. A little confusing with a show and/or battle experience to choose from (the battle looking fun if you have children) and a little on the pricey side. With very few exhibits, not worthwhile unless you do the 3D show, which was quite interesting, although I didn't realise until it was too late... More

Thank you for your very detailed feedback. As you will see from reading previous responses on Trip advisor there are only three artefacts in existence. Thus the experience is delivered entirely in a 3D immersive interpretive form. We have noted your comments on the location of the hand dryer. We also have taken on board your comments about how you... More

The 3D battle experience was epic. Good fun playing the battle game. Would like to see more exhibits though.

Thanks for your review. We do concentrate on 48 hours of the battle. At present there is only three items of archaeological evidence taken from 3500 finds. We do provide a free living history area for examining weaponry and clothing, monument tours we do hope you had the chance to see this as well. More

The Battle of Bannockburn centre had a lot of interesting history about the battle between the English and the Scots. The 3D experience was really good, as well as the interactive digital battle game, which was very well presented and a lot of fun. A very good visit.

National trust property so free if you are members. Lots to do , we spent a good couple of hours here. The display itself is 3 D and interactive , very realistic and brings the history to life .
