Great Technology - but lacking traditional storyboarding.

They have done a great job with the technology. The 3d animations are well done and the guides tell the story well with just the right amount of humour. The battle game was... read more

The computerisation is impressive but thats all there is. I learned very little about the actual Battle, the background to it, the run up to it, the history of it. I had thought it would be along the same lines as Culloden which is extremely good.

Visited with a friend from Stirling. It was ok, but definitely not really worth the money. Plenty other better things to do in Stirling

Taking my American visitor to Bannockburn for historical and photographic impact, she expressed no interest in the 3D show as we are both adults and this medium aimed at kids with little imagination frankly does nothing for us. The Monument is impressive as is the Bruce equestrian Statue but that is about it out in the Battle Site. No information... More

Excellent way to spend 1-2 hours but would be so much better with more exhibits along the style of a standard museum to supplement the excellent technology used in the main part of the centre.

In spite of being assigned as an English commander and rewriting history by killing Robert the Bruce. This was awesome and well worth the price. Even as a 30-year old woman, I thoroughly enjoyed myself playing the battle game.

They have done a great job with the technology. The 3d animations are well done and the guides tell the story well with just the right amount of humour. The battle game was interesting and suitable for most ages. My only criticism is that the technology has replaced the old fashioned storyboards and artifacts. What would have been excellent would... The 3D films were fun and informative, and the interactive battle table was a great experience for both adults and kids. I thought there could be more information in the preparatory area, as it wasn't intuitive how to use the technology - maybe that's just my age! The monuments outside were very poignant and simple, befitting the site of many,... More

Fantastic experience in 3d. You feel like you are really in the battle. Very informative and given the chance you can play at your own battle.

The exhibits located now at the monument would be more so aimed at kids and school classes, however the 3D videos and movie sets are done well. There is also a gaming battle table that replicates the battle of Bannock Burn allowing up to 18 players. If you have the time it takes about 45 minutes. It is good for... More

Visited the centre previously before the changes. 3D features good but my wife was disorientated with glasses. I personally like to wander about museums where possible, not here ,although previous to the changes you were free try on chain mail, helmets etc. Get photos in stocks. That said still a great tourist attraction
