What a good time we had seeing this Panto, my friend had never been to one, I could not believe it that at 58 he had never seen a panto live, only on tv. The cast were excellent my fav being the Jester, but all the cast were good, and the production was well performed. The banter with the audence... More

10 of us visited Southport Theatre to watch the Sleeping Beauty Pantomime. Parking was easy as there is a large council pay and display next to the theatre. Collected our tickets quickly from the box office and bought a couple of programmes from the lovely staff at the front door. In the foyer there was an amazing giant Xmas tree... More

Booked a last minute weekend trip to southport for Christmas shopping. Decided to take my granddaughter to see sleeping beauty panto at the southport theatre. Picked my tickets up with ease at reception and bought my program. A lovely theatre, quite a good size, even though we were near the back we could see stage perfect and hear everything clearly.... I visited with my daughter and a friend and her daughter to watch Sleeping Beauty the panto. I live in Southport and I have always found Southport Theatre to be a great venue, an iconic building on the promenade. On my visit on this occasion, venue as usual was very clean and plenty of staff on hand serving and to... More

Been to many of these over the years. You know you will never get a gourmet dinner but given there must have been over 350 people I think they did v well. Entertainment was good and singers. They packed too many people in but the real gripe was the bar staff tried to diddle 3 of our party in various... More

Saw Charlie Landsborough there several times, and would certainly not be afraid or concerned about going to see him or any other show which took my fancy at this fabulous theatre

Had a great night, music was good and the venue were ok but the the beer on draft was horrible and it was £3.50 for a can of guiness, these costs are too high.

We booked relatively late for this event, but the view and acoustics from the rear side stalls was excellent. The seating was very comfortable - very necessary for a five hour show. It added to a quality performance from Ken Dodd - and made it easier to endure the mediocre support acts.
