A place not to be missed - every sweet you remember from your childhood on sale here. Never mind the calories - treat yourself. Even strolling down the Arcade is fun.

this is amazing place like a house with ajoining rooms crammed with goodies from key rings at £1 to antique furniture at a few hundred pounds. Full of unusual stuff and lot of retro , could spend hours in here. Saw a marvelous screen wish i had took my estate car instead of being on a coach tour. If you... More

This shop stocks many of the traditional sweets that I remember from my childhood. Next door there is a cafe where you can sit and relax in an Edwardian arcade.

A lovely little shop! I walked in and was immediately taken back to my childhood, surrounded by sweets that I grew up adoring. There's a plentiful selection and even some really good gift ideas and packages. I purchased two authentic wooden train toys which were full of sweets and I can't wait to give them to my two little boys... More

Popped in with my girlfriend during a short break. Lots of sweets to choose from, i had cola bottles and kendal mint cake and my girlfriend had a selection of lollipops. Cant grumble with the price. Always worth a visit.

If you look hard you can find many of these olde tyme sweet shops of yesteryear in a lot of towns in the North West but Sweet Memories may be one of the best. Its not the cheapest but you will over indulge yourself with the treats on offer and its all nicely displayed.
