Lovely clean model railway village with very good detail. Nice quiz for kids to complete on the way round. It was looking like it might rain shortly after we went in so we were offered big brollies which was a nice touch. I would have given it a much higher rating as it is extremely clean with great staff and... More

Visited after being unable to for a few days due to vandalism. Our son loved it and it is so quiet and peaceful.

A nice calm end to the day. Nothing remarkable about the village, but the quiz kept my seven year old niece, and me occupied.Very friendly staff and not too expensive either, and we might win the competition. Fingers crossed!

Good value for money but it only takes about 1/2 hour to see it all. Given a sheet on arrival and you have to hunt for fairies and answer questions on what you see so good for the kids. Set in nice gardens and the staff on reception are friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I enjoyed another return visit with, and as requested by,our 6 and 3 year old Grandchildren. Two new quizzes focussed interest for them and older visitors As well. Light refreshments were modestly priced and welcome as we stayed for over five hours... Excellent value from a £14 Family ticket! Our six year old noted that the trains varied... More

The model railway village in King's Gardens, Southport, is a truly brilliant attraction and a delightful experience for both young and old alike. The entire project has been created through the personal foresight of the owner and, whilst it's a delight for children who enjoy seeking out objects, it's also a good experience for adults. This includes railway enthusiasts. The... More

Highly recommended for young children. My 4 year old loved it and the detail was fab. The trains even stop at the stations and whistle when they pass another train. There was also two quizzes to do which made it more interesting. Lots of benches to sit and enjoy a picnic, and it has a cafe/shop and toilets. Very peaceful... More

Great place to visit with train mad kids. Reasonably priced and my two boys (1 and 4) spent two days following their favourite trains round. The eldest hasn't stopped talking about it yet
