Great little activity

our 2 and 4 year olds loved it. Cheap and cheerful family fun. The weather was not brilliant but this didn't hamper our enjoyment

This was a brilliant visit and I am long past being a child. We received a very warm welcome by a very pleasant young lady who gave us a competition form to find objects along the way including Bob the Builder. . The trains were fantastic with lots of electronic gadgetry throughout the line. The owner and operator was very... More

we have been to quite a few large model villages and to be honest at the lack of detail and the upkeep of the buildings left us quite disappointed, however this is a great well kept model village with the bonus of several model trains with lights, sounds and signal boxes where the trains stop if the light on the... Beautiful setting, lovely people running the park and a must visit for any young family. My two sons where totally enthralled with the trains and couldn't get enough of the place. Amazing effort has gone into creating a fantastic layout with great detail. Will be back!

I visited the model railway village during the Easter holidays with my daughter and grandchildren aged 2 years and 5 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would go again. We arrived about 4pm. which was just long enough to go round the village once before closing time and enjoy a cup of tea in the cafe, but we... More

I'm afraid we had no excuse of visiting with our children, as we haven't any! But we still had a brilliant couple of hours in this enchanting railway village. The grounds are kept immaculately and there are houses, a church, a castle, lots of little shops, lifelike figures and of course, the beautiful locomotives towing a selection of carriages etc,... We have visited here twice in the last few weeks as our two year old is train mad and it has been fantastic. It has a lovely warm atmosphere and is beautifully taken care of. Great couple of hours as my little boy ran round excited as the little trains go round. Would recommend to anybody.
