Have passed this attraction many times over the years, but eventually went in with our grandson. So glad we did, it is so well kept, and we had a little quiz to do as we walked round, looking for things en route, which our grandson (and Grandad ) thoroughly enjoyed, in the race to see who spotted things first!

Basically a poor effort. Takes 5-10 mins to walk around and nothing worth staying longer for. The old one in Southport was fantastic with houses on fire and fire engines racing along so much more to see it was worth a couple of hours to see everything, this is very poor as a replacement and not worth the money.

This is a charming little spot close to the sea front, yet hidden amongst the trees around the marina and gardens. We love to go along and sit on a bench, just taking in the whole scene. In these days of high tech entertainment it is delightful and a joy to encounter children who appreciate it. Only drawback is the... More

A very interesting place to visit. A quiz for children to fill as they walk round. Lots to see. It's well laid out & very well kept. Four trains running all the time & lots of interesting buildings to see,. Lots of places to sit & watch the world go by. A very good attraction.

Took the kids on a whim. The ticket price (£14 for a family) suggested that there would be more. What was there was well presented and kept us entertained for about 1/2 hour with the help of the quiz. But wouldn't go back.

Had very high hopes for this attraction as our son loves trains. Of course, any train to him is great but for the price for 2 adults, 2 kids (3 and 4) to be £14, was hoping for a great set up. Courtyard with 2 small rocking horses, a broken playhouse and a very small little tikes slide. Toilets were... More

Lovely place to walk around, plenty of places to sit and watch the children. Spotlessly clean. A lovely quiet haven. We were informed by the owner that picnics are more than welcome, a refreshing change to some attractions. You can go round as many times as you wish. Free quiz to keep the older children occupied. Everything can be seen... More

We have been to all the really impressive Model Villages - the one near Taunton, Beaconsfield and Great Yarmouth. This one is not on that scale but that doesn't lessen the appeal. We went with two children aged 9 and 12 and while the older one seemed unimpressed at first, within minutes of starting the quiz provided at entry, he... More

We paid £14 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children, which isn't cheap but as both boys love model trains it was worth every penny as they shrieked with delight as every train chuffed past, stopped at the junctions, went under tunnels etc. It was a hot sunny bank holiday so we were in no rush and could wander...
