Pleasantly surprised!

Well, we braved a rainy day this past half term and headed to Anna's zoo. If I'm honest, on first glance I didn't think it was up to much and thought we would be in and out in a... read more

Went the same time a tiger arrived, the place was sensibly busy. The animals were fantastic we saw the rhinos play fighting. We ate in cafe and had pizza it was bloody lovely and reasonable priced! We had a very good day

Well, we braved a rainy day this past half term and headed to Anna's zoo. If I'm honest, on first glance I didn't think it was up to much and thought we would be in and out in a jiffy. How wrong I was! We arrived at 11am and left just after a talk at 3.30pm. The day was a... More

as zoos go its pretty good though a bit pricey though I expect animals need food shelter and everything else so that's why animals are varied and you might see a tv celeb,in scruffy garb, thats worth a few quid

Absolutely wonderful. Great day out. The monkey walk through and rabbit walk through were so worth the entrance fee.

A small zoo with a limited number of animals. In places it looks quite run down although I know they are doing work to improve it. You can walk through enclosures with some of the animals (wallabies /lemurs) which is quite fun. I felt it was quite expensive for what was on offer.

We went here so we could do the animal experience with the tapir. Was an excellent day and an excellent experience. Was well worth the money. Watched the keepers hard at work maintaining the animal enclosure. The only negative I could see was the main building required some heavy duty maintenance do on it. And their food prices are on... This was our 3rd visit to Manor House, and as advertised, a totally different experience from our previous two visits, but just as good! The beauty of this place is that since the. animals have large enclosures and are free to roam, there's no guarantee you'll see everything on one visit. This time we were really lucky and saw the... I've been visiting this site for 30 years. First time I've brought my partner, and first time I'm been in The last 6 years. Was let down how much of the park was closed off to the public. It starts well with a lovely walk through enclosures and round the bigger enclosures. But as you approach the manor house, half... More
