It was always our intention to go on a boat trip whilst enjoying a short break in Ilfracombe! We found the Princess great value for money!! £40 for six of us!! We had an hour out on the sea which was informative, interesting and great fun!! If not a little choppy!! The crew were lovely and they welcomed our little... More

We enjoyed a great trip on the Ilfraconbe Princess today. The sea was too choppy for a full trip, but a tour around the coast with an interesting commentary was ALMOST as good as seeing the seals! The chap who sold us the tickets was honest about it too - said it wasn't the full trip but we may be... More

We went on an hours boat trip on the Ilfracombe Princess and loved every minute. The man who took our payment was friendly and helpful and the men doing the tour gave us lots of information about Ilfracombe and the surrounding area. We didn't see any seals or dolphins but that didn't matter at all! We did have to queue... More

We recently had a few days in ilfracombe and everyday went to see if the ilfracombe princess was running and finally on the last day we were in luck. We went on the longer trip and had a enjoyable trip up the coast. The weather got up on the way back but the boat owners can hardly be blamed for... More

Fab boat trip out to see the seals. Very informative, not too long for the children either and a great price. Thankyou

We did not know anything about Ilfracombe or the boat trips that you can take from there so we let ourselves be surprised, and took a trip aboard the Princess, which seemed to be the most comfortable boat from Ilfracombe harbour. There were no dolphins or seals to be seen but that was no problem at all as we enjoyed... More

A lovely hour and a half aboard the boat with some fantastic sights. Was a little disappointed with the seals part as we only saw 3 but was still a fantastic outing for the money!

We were not lucky enough to see anything like seals or dolphins and I honestly would have thought that this would spoil the trip but in fact we had a great time. The coastline is nothing short of stunning, and whoever was providing commentary sounded interested in what he was talking about. This trip alone made me want to return... More

We went on an afternoon boat trip up towards Exmoor from Ilfracombe on a sunny but windy afternoon. It was £36 for a family of four for a round trip of an hour and a half. We really enjoyed the trip. There was an onboard commentary which gave us some extremely interesting information about the spectacular coastline, it's geology, history... More

This is a great value for money trip whilst on holiday! We ended up being on the boat for 2 hours! We saw a few birds and learnt about local history, however didn't see any seals, dolphins or waterfalls! This trip is choppy and there were a few green people aftewards! It was great fun and the staff were professional!... More
