My daughter had a big surprise for me, she had arranged for me to feed the Lions. It was the most amazing experience, being so close, they are such amazing creatures. Would highly recommend the experience.

The dinosaurs were good but didn't seem like the main event of the park, they also had a good selection of animals, and we even got to stand in the Meercat enclosure too which the kids loved. Extras paid on the day were a pound each for the little train which was a laugh. Definitely worth a visit, and we... More

Lovely surroundings and location. My two (10 & 3) loved it. got there about 11ish and stayed til closing. Watched sea lion show which was fab.. seats to sit on were a little wet but soon dried off... managed to catch lunchtime for the lions and the talker was great really interacted with the crowd and made listening fun.. my... Great for families with little ones but also lovely grounds for all to enjoy and plenty of wildlife to see! Took a packed lunch but the cafes had a great selection of food available and a welcome cup of tea !

On the whole this place is well worth a visit, and we had a great day out. The admission price was very reasonable, and we weren't ripped off when it came to food and drinks, like you would expect in most 'tourist attractions'. The only negatives were the steep paths, you would seriously struggle pushing a pram up those slopes... More

Whilst the majority of our visit was a good one we were left a bit disappointed today. As we live locally to the park and have visited before in the past we were well aware that the park is very hilly (which isn't a problem for us) and that the majority of the attractions are outside. The big draw for... More

Overall this place did well and is reasonable value for money. They clearly have been doing a lot of work over the winter. Access to most areas is via paths with a few steps, however, it is built on a hillside, so some paths are quite steep. Some reviews I have read have been very negative, but I think this... More

A lovely place to visit, lots to see and do for all ages, although it is quite hilly so wheelchairs/pushchairs may struggle a bit, will go again as loved it. The staff/keepers are friendly and really helpful, the sea lion show is a must.

We learnt visited here years ago, and I recall we weren't that impressed then. We revisited with our 8 yo daughter in April and found it better than I remembered. We found plenty to look at and see. Some animals that you don't see elsewhere, eg raccoons. The sealion display is a "must see". The dinosaur exhibits were better than... More
