We really enjoyed our day here, lots for the kids to see and do, food reasonably priced and the staff were all casually friendly (and not forced to smile). As it was the end of the season some areas were a little scruff (grass cutting please) but that didn't hamper our enjoyment of the day. However, some of the paths... More

I actually visited the park as I was 'holding a tarantula' for charity and with the help of the zoo keepers who made me feel very comfortable and calm - I did hold a tarantula. We wandered around the park before and after the event, watched the sea lion show, meerkats and wolves feeding times and petted some wallabys. The... More

It was a long journey with small children from Exeter to North Devon but well worth it. We had glorious weather and our 2 excited grandchildren of 5 & 6 - one a bit nervous if i'm honest! A big park and we walked our legs off so we were thankful for comfortable shoes. Absolutely loads to see and do... More

Been here a few times as we all love it. Lions, Monkeys, Sea Lions, Penguins, Egypt exhibition, come to life Dinosaurs (they squirt water at you). The place is an absolute must if you are in the area. For £25pp you can meet a sea lion, after the sea lion show, and feed it as well as getting the sea... More

We were given a half price ticket from The Big Sheep and so decided to visit the wildlife and dinosaur park with our two boys 2 and 4. At full price (£40) we would have been a little disappointed. The good beautiful animals, including lions, meerkats and wolves. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable especially the man giving... More

To be honest I don't have much positive to say about this place, for what it is the prices are extortionate! the Animal enclosures were dirty and some very small, Only one penguin in the enclosure, major hills and impossible car parking, the gift shop was sparse and even though you have to pay a ridiculous admission price, you also... Went to this park with my sister, her 2 sons (aged 3&5) and a friend. We all had an enjoyable day. My nephews found the dinosaur show very entertaining...especially when we got squirted! :) The sea lion show was also a big hit...we watched it twice! We queued to enter the park, but once we were in it didn't feel... More

I don't understand some of the negative reviews. We were there for the whole day and still felt like we could stay another hour or two. Food was a good quality and price. Kids loved the dinosaurs and all the animals. The tombes seemed a bit of a random display to have but was highly enjoyable. Train ride is worth... More
