There are so many things to see and do ie: meet the animals (spiders / snakes) The spaceship ride is good and the animated dinosaurs give the kids a scare so all good. Don't miss the mini train ride it has a trick up its sleeve and the walk to the zoo is lovely as are the sea lions and... More

Love this place to have something like this so near to us is wonderful. Its very tiring though walking around the park as its up and down hills so having a pram or buggy provides a workout but well worth going. I could go several times over and not be bored. They have a wide range of animals so well... More

I entered the park expecting to be disappointed as I had never heard of it but was pleasantly surprised..... My children loved the seals and the train ride was really fun... Will be visiting again.

This was sweet little place, with dinosaurs that roared at you while you walked past! Interesting talks with lions, baboons but my highlight had to be the seal talk, very entertaining, the keepers were all lovely and happy to answer questions but be beware the park is hilly so be prepared for some good walks uphill, keeps you fit!

I'm sure the trip today will give us some issues in a few years when we have to explain to our son (currently 16 months old) that dinosaurs aren't real... our day out to the park was great, steep yes, but worth it to get the beautiful views. Personally we felt the Pharaohs and Bug World shows weren't of the... More

Went to the park today with partner and 2 year old, main reason I gave it 4 not 5 was due to the steepness of the trail, I apologise if this is advertised on your leaflets but as we just came in on passing we were unaware and as my partner has a false limb this was really difficult for... More

Thank you for your review and we are really pleased that you had a good day with us. Yes we do mention on the leaflet that we are built around a valley and some pathways are steep in places. I hope it was not too much of a struggle for your partner and I am pleased that despite this you... More

We visited with family today 14 March as a birthday treat for my sister whose 5 year old son is dinosaur mad! The walk through the wooded area with the dinosaurs was good and obviously fairly realistic as it frightened my eight year old nieces! On to the animals - mostly disappointing and quite upset to see the lion in... More

Thank you for your review and I am really pleased that you liked our dinosaurs. I agree there are a couple of enclosures with high walls that would have benefited from having viewing windows for younger visitors. As new owners in 2012 we are taking this into account with any new constructions of enclosures built either by having windows or... More

Been a few times now and have never left disappointed! As you travel up the lane to the various car parks that gives you an inkling about the steepness of the place but theirs so much to see you don't really notice! Animals are all very well cared for, big enclosures, fab keepers who are all very knowledgeable, dinosaurs (don't... More

On the negative side - do not visit this park if you have any mobility problems. It is very hilly, we visited with our 2 young children (1 in a pushchair) and there were moments I felt quite unsafe pushing a pram. By the end of the visit, I felt as though I had done an exercise class! That being... More

Thank you so much for your review, yes we are hilly aren't we! The steepness of our beautiful valley is more difficult for some visitors particularly early season. Thanks for persevering despite your difficulties and for recommending visitors attend the talks and feeds throughout the day. It does give visitors more of an opportunity to see our lovely animals close... More

Where to start!!! We were unsure of the weather but decided to continue with our plans and to head to the wildlife and dinosaur park!! We had a great start to the day by visiting the meerkats which despite the drizzle was well worth it and great how we could all get so close!!! The keepers were very helpful and... More

Wow, thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your bacon baguettes! We do find if our visitors involve themselves with all the encounters, talks and shows throughout the day they will have a much better time. I am always surprised how opinions vary so much although we would love to be able to please everyone all of the... More
