Lots and lots to do and see at Watermouth Castle for all the family. For under £50 for a family of four there is enough to do to fill a day. The castle is full of quirky collections, room layout, trains, ghost and goolies! Gnomeland is great, full of animated gnomes in their homes. Snake tube slide was loved by... More

Although I live in Ilfracombe, it's been a few years since we last went with my daughter. She's grown up so we decided to take the grandchildren (3 and 10). It was a good day out, sunny and mild, so going on all the rides was a the highlight of the day. We decided to eat at the café and... More

I have visited water mouth castle many times over the last twenty years and have thoroughly enjoyed it as did my twin daughters .right from the first time we found it quirky and ideal for younger children . The grounds are amazing . There are things to interest anyone throughout . We are planning to return within the next month... More

We visited in a party of 7 with our son and his family of two young boys (age 2 and 4). What a perfect day out for that age range. Most of the rides were small enough for both to go on and the gnome village was fun too, I particularly liked the Gnome weather stone. The soft ball shooting... More

We visited during half term and it was raining. Some of the rides were shut or not staffed. Overall we had a good time anyway. The sign about leaving buggies at the front door is not clear, nor are people made aware of this when they read the marketing leaflets. I found it a real struggle to carry a large... More

We enjoyed a good 3-4 hours here and had a great time on the early 1900s game machines (2p and 10p) for kids and adults!! Bought homemade fudge which was a delight. Would definitely recommend to all to visit as we did with older kids - would be even more fantastic with kids under 10.

We saw the brochure and my 11 year old thought it looked like a "fun" place. On reflection I think £13.25 and £11.25 is rather overpriced, even if you were there with young children. A visit to Exmoor Zoo is a much more reasonable price, and far more entertaining. Far more could be made of the castle itself, allowing visitors... More

We were looking for something to do to keep our 2 & 3 year olds occupied on the last day of our holiday when we stumbled across the very picturesque Watermouth Castle. This truly is a unique experience and probably isn't appreciated by all but we had a great day out, the various displays in the castle, the lovely cream... More

We visited when it was raining, only saw half of the attractions and still had a great time. The castle was interesting, Gnome land was fun and the staff very helpful. Good value for money and on a dry day loads more to do

5 stars, and a great review. We couldn't ask for more, and it really is appreciated so thank you very much! We also feel that we offer a full days worth of entertainment, so I sincerely hope you get the chance to re-visit and see everything that you missed. I have also passed on your kind words about the staff.... More
