We've stayed at Chambercombe a number of times and always look forward to coming back. This time we decided on an overnight stay in the Manor using the Chippendale and Tudor rooms. We had a good meal in the Great Hall and the staff added to the experience with their Tudor costumes. We had a lovely evening in the Manor... More

This house has a lot of interesting history which dates back many centuries. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. A very pleasant garden to walk round with a nice... More

I rented one of the cottages with a couple of friends for three nights. We found the cottage to be clean, well equipped and the surroundings very pretty. Unfortunately, we never got round to a tour of the Manor but enjoyed the facilities of the cafe and wandering around the gorgeous gardens.

We happened upon a brochure for Chambercombe Manor and thought we would give it a go as it was raining on and off. We arrived just as the first tour was due to depart. There were just 3 of us on the tour so we really had the undivided attention of the very knowledgeable tour guide. She provided a very... More

This was our second visit to beautiful Chambercombe Manor, it wont be our last. We stayed this time in the hayloft which is roomy and modern with all that you could want from a holiday let. The grounds are restfull and peaceful, well worth a little walk around. The house its self provides an interesting tour with plenty to see... More

We usually come every year to Chambercombe. Some times we go round manor which is a fab place to see and look round but mostly we go for the lushious cream teas that they do!! Highly recommended ;-) The staff/tour guides are very friendly and helpful and couldn't praise them more. I would definitely recommend a visit here even if... More

Today we were welcomed into this ancient Manor House. It has rained on and off all morning, and we were wet and dripping. On arriving has a group of 30, we were spit into two groups, and the guides with each party, amused, educated and in some cases scared some of the group. Their knowledge was great. The Tea room...
