My husband and I and our dear friends from London booked an overnight stay in the Manor House after we took them to visit on a day tour last October. We all enjoyed the tour so much and Sue who helps run and take care of Chambercombe manor trust told us that they had started to do overnight stays and... More

A wonderful old building with a long and dark history. There is a spirit not at rest, that of a young girl who had an untimely death her presence can be felt by those who are receptive to these super natural events. if fact the local newspaper send a repoter to film the room where the girl died and he said... I am a big fan of Chambercombe Manor so when we decided to head there for my birthday weekend again I was very happy. We had been to a previous paranormal event and won two free tickets. We stayed in the little cottage and it was lovely and packed with everything we needed. It is not warm but turn the... More

There is a building here that is said to contain ghosts. Unfortunately I couldn't negotiate the stairs so I sent my friends in instead. A couple of them felt something that they couldn't explain. The other pooh harded it. Go along and make up your own mind.

We've stayed at Chambercombe a number of times and always look forward to coming back. This time we decided on an overnight stay in the Manor using the Chippendale and Tudor rooms. We had a good meal in the Great Hall and the staff added to the experience with their Tudor costumes. We had a lovely evening in the Manor... More

This house has a lot of interesting history which dates back many centuries. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Although not a believer in the paranormal I was very interested in the stories of ghouls and ghosts. But nothing out of the ordinary happened to me. A very pleasant garden to walk round with a nice... More

I rented one of the cottages with a couple of friends for three nights. We found the cottage to be clean, well equipped and the surroundings very pretty. Unfortunately, we never got round to a tour of the Manor but enjoyed the facilities of the cafe and wandering around the gorgeous gardens.

We happened upon a brochure for Chambercombe Manor and thought we would give it a go as it was raining on and off. We arrived just as the first tour was due to depart. There were just 3 of us on the tour so we really had the undivided attention of the very knowledgeable tour guide. She provided a very... More

This was our second visit to beautiful Chambercombe Manor, it wont be our last. We stayed this time in the hayloft which is roomy and modern with all that you could want from a holiday let. The grounds are restfull and peaceful, well worth a little walk around. The house its self provides an interesting tour with plenty to see... More

We visited Chambercombe Manor at the end of August, the last day of our Holiday. It was everything and more than we expected. We didn't do the Tour but wish we had but still enjoyed a relaxing walk round, we were the first ones in that morning. We took some photo's, one of which was a bit strange!! there's definately...
