I found Tunnels Beaches on a website by chance, before we’d even got engaged! I made a mental note but never imagined that one year on I would be lucky enough to get married there. It was the first and only venue we viewed and the moment we walked through the tunnel we both knew this was the place for... More

£2.50 each to get in, very interesting to have a look round amassing what the Victorians did, was end of October when we visited so didn't sit on the beach, to think some-one thought of blasting through all that rock so they could have a swim and a paddle, when there do read all the posters they are full of... Fascinating story behind the construction of these tunnels to otherwise inaccessible beaches told by display boards and when you get there they are well worth the visit.

After paying to get in, I was expecting the beaches to have a quaint Victorian feel to them. How wrong I was! Honestly, it felt like an underpass then a pile of stones. Admittedly it was raining and I was grumpy so that may have an affect on this review.

Interesting beach with enclosed swimming pool and lots of rock pools. Beautiful coastline to take in as well. Shame the beach cafe wasn't open but it was end of October.

My fiance and I visited last week. It our last morning in Ilfracombe and I really wanted to visit the Tunnels Beaches. The lady on the kiosk was friendly and we paid to get in. Being October it was very quiet and peaceful, so we got to enjoy it more than I think I would if it was busier. There... More

Day Visit- We were visiting here as it was a wedding venue for our Dear Friends, It was a lovely afternoon and evening, you couldn't ask for nicer place to get married with a select group of Friends. The views were stunning, looking up at the cliff top and out to sea, being mid October, we were lucky with the... More
