It was a rainy windy day so we couldn't enjoy the outside to the full but as it was our last day decided we should visit the tunnels anyway. Certainly well worth a visit, interest in the tunnels and walks and in good weather the rocks and beaches, could easily spend a few hours here and understand why it is... More

While on holiday in Ilfracombe this summer we visited tunnels a couple of times, the beach area is lovely, worth paying to get in. Amazing fish finger sandwiches from the cafe.

We always visit here when we stay at nearby Woolacombe, the secluded beach is idyllic although it can get a bit crowded, over the years the improvements to the shop and restaurant have been phenomenal, this is a must see if you're staying in North Devon.

A hot august day at high tide so extremely crowded with shouting kids and nowhere to sit on the pebbles. Café unattractive. Long slow queue to get in.

The moment that we discovered Tunnels Beaches we decided that we would get married there. It's such a beautiful place with stunning views and has a really special feel to it. Not only is the setting just perfect but the service that the Team at Tunnels provided us was second to none. The food that was served was excellent and... More

A truly different swimming experience! Loved the pool slowly exposed as the tide went out! Great for children in the rock pools ! Will definitely visit again!

A lovely beach with great rock pools although the beach was a little crowded at high tide. Lovely views along the coast and a great location for photography

Visited our niece's wedding. All outside including the ceremony. Beautiful afternoon and evening. The weather was so kind having rained in the morning but hot and sunny all the rest of the day. Beautiful views and photo opportunities overlooking the slate cliffs and sea. Also photos taken on the slate beach below. Very pretty.Beautiful ceremony. Slick organisation changing from service... A very safe bay for children when the tide is out as the rocks provide a bathing area. Would have been better with sand as the shale is very uncomfortable to walk on in bare feet.
