Visited with parents on Saturday midday, no plans on this occasion to relax on the beach areas but will definitely return for this at another time. Really nice to read all the history etc. A wedding was due to take place whilst we were there & the setting looked absolutely beautiful. We had lunch in the cafe bar which was... More

Amazing venue with fantastic views love the building and decoration. A great choice for a wedding and the weather was beautiful. The staff were helpful, kind and friendly. Gourmet bbq served at wedding was delicious. Bathroom facilities were clean and tidy. Had food at the cafe/bar which was also lovely on Sunday, if you have children there Is a lovely... More

We have fond memories of tunnels beach but they were shattered on this visit. Couldn't believe how it's been turned into a commercial money making scheme with a wedding venue. When we went to go on the beach we were abruptly told that we were not allowed as there was a wedding on and we were shown to a small... More

Our love affair with Tunnels Beaches started when we looked at your website. Tempted but not fully convinced to go abroad, we had been struggling to find the special qualities we were looking for in UK venues, such as; the seaside, a low-key set up and an informal, yet tasteful feel. Mesmerized by the beautiful video and amazing pictures on... More

We visited here whilst on holiday in Woolacombe. It's £2.50 to get in per adult which is not expensive at all. You walk through the tunnel and can either go left to the Gentlemans beach or right to the Womens beach. You can see the wedding area at the end of the tunnel which looks lovely. You get free deck... There was a wedding on and half of it was closed off. What was open was 1 beach which was actually shingle and quite painful on the feet. Water was of course freezing as you would find at any coastal bathing area. Much hyped restaurant was on the land side of the tunnels with no sea views!

From the moment we found Tunnels online, we fell in love with the surroundings and the gourmet BBQ concept and knew it was the place for us to get married. On visiting, the venue was shown off by Josh, and on the day, Darren bent over backwards to make it the most memorable day of our lives. Since we booked... More

When you approach the entrance you have no idea what lies behind. But a short walk through a hand carved Victorian tunnel leads you to two fantastic secluded beaches. I can't describe how beautiful the view is the first time you see it. Please look at the website to get an idea!!! One of the beaches is for public use... More

If you are looking for a safe and secluded beach with rock pools , great views , ease of parking and access , including lovely facilities then spend a day at Tunnels Beaches. A wonderful sun trap with deck chair hire if needed. The beach is black/ grey shingle so not good for sandcastles, however our grandkids ages from 2... More
