Amazing to walk through the tunnels and then see the ladies pool (gents pool has been eroded over the passing of time whilst looking at all the old pictures showing the Victorians enjoying a trip to the seaside. Really worth a visit but best to go at low tide so you can actually see the pool and venture down onto... More

When we are in North Devon we always make a trip to the Tunnel Beaches. You may ask why when there are so many great beaches around this part of North Devon expecially as its private and therefore payment is required. Well both my son and I love to rock pool and here it is great. Even in Feburary it... More

We liked the beach but decided we would not go again as did not want to pay. This was a shame as my son, girlfriend and granddaughter came down last Summer but we decided there are nice free beaches around. I think it is especially a shame that locals can't go in free during the winter. They would get a lot... More

I have visited many times with my 3 year old nephew, the tidal pool is excellent for young children as there arnt any waves when the sea goes out. So is safe and gets fairly warm when the suns been out. We also like to look for crabs in the rock pools too. The play hut is also a firm... More

A stony beach but the tidal pool is nice, and safe for young ones. The attached cafe is lovely and their food amazing, with soft play for the kids.

Didn't know what to expect but def wasn't disappointed! It's a beautiful place to see, there are several beaches (ladies and gents), it's not a sandy beach so recommend beach/surf shoes. Lifeguard on duty at the ladies beach so kids are very safe and inflatables were safe to use as no where to go other than the natural rock pool... More

Viewed as a place to have our wedding venue. After viewing Tunnels beaches and placing a deposit, with a date set, the owner/manager decided to give out place away to someone who was willing to pay more. Our deposit was promptly given back but we were, at the time, heart broken. However, I realise now the reality of what this... More

Couldn't wait to come back & visit our stunning wedding venue on our 2 year anniversary. Once again I return with a baby bump, a small new bump compared to the sixth month bump last time! Such lovely staff so friendly to chat to, was lovely to visit the cafe with great food & drinks to warm up. Enjoyed strolling... More
