My partner was given a Vineyard Experience for his 50th and, after some procrastination, we finally got around to using it. I honestly don't know what we were thinking because it was GREAT! I have to say it probably helped that it was a beautiful, sunny day as much of the tour is outside. Anyway, we did the tour, taking... More

I have lived close to Adgestone Vineyard for a while now but I have never been. So while looking for something interesting to do on a warm October afternoon we decided to pop in and have a look. The vineyard itself is quite beautiful especially on an autumn afternoon when the vines and trees surrounding them are turning all shades... More

small vineyard with good cafe for lunch in the garden if weather warm. Tasted the wine and bought some to take away!

Very enjoyable and informative. First we were set free to wander along the signposted route around the vines and the winery. Then tasting the wines with an entertaining introduction to wine tasting and a brief history of the vineyard. There is a good, if small, range of drinks and food on sale Highly recommended

Visited on a wet October day. Had a walk around the vineyard and the production area. The owner then showed us how to taste wine 'expertly' . Also tried some quirky chilli and some ginger wine. Enjoyed lunch of a shared platter of ploughman style lunch at a reasonable price. The only thing that let it down was the weather!... More

The owners could not have been more helpful in accommodation our catering needs and making a well behaved dog welcome. The coffees were spot on, the tea cakes done to order and we were made most welcome. The wood-burning stove was an excellent addition since our last visit. Wine tasting was well ordered and we came away with a decent... More

I've said tiny, but I don't actually know the average size of a vineyard. What I do know is that we arrived late in the day with a large group and were made to feel right at home. Ten of us toured the 'perfect slope' and then explored the wine cellar... We learnt all about all sorts of acids and... More

The owners and staff were very friendly and ensured that our visit was very enjoyable. The sun was shining and the leisurely stroll around the vineyard, listening to the tour information through the headphones was interesting and relaxing. There were seats all around the tour where we could relax and take in the site and scenery, we did not have... More

We are SO pleased that we stumbled upon the Adgestone Vineyard. The wine tasting was delicious as it interesting. We loved the tour as the views are absolutely stunning especially from the top of the Vineyard. The recorded tour was very informative but also relaxing to listen to as the the narrator had a very nice voice. We liked it... More
