We only had a quick visit with a coach party of 40 people so we were somewhat lost in the crowd. The very instructive talk of the wine making process from locally grown fruit vines was augmented with a taste of all varieties produced. After the talk opportunity to view wine in the process of production was possible, but we had to... Popped out last weekend for a look around. New owners have re furbished and done quite a bit of work. Nice small cafe/deli with a nice selection of cakes and light bites. Wine that is made on site is on offer to taste along with some other tasty products that they make on site and are made by local producers.... More

Its always great for both of us to read a 5 star review from a "senior contributor". Thank you for taking the time to add us to your reviews. We loved this vineyard and completely preferred this to Rosemary Vineyard which was larger and attracted coach parties. We took the self guided audio tour with tasting and would definitely recommend this. We enjoyed the wine and purchased a number of bottles to take away. For lunch we enjoyed the meze with a nice glass of wine on the terrace... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us such a kind review. Sorry it took so long to respond, we have been dealing with the harvest, new wine making and juggling between running the vineyard and attending the Christmas food shows & markets. We are so glad you both enjoyed your time here and really hope you come back... More

We visited the vineyard with my South African inlaws (pops is a big wine buff), in the shop we were keen to taste (not quaff) wine from the vineyard with the intention of buying a bottle or two. The lady poured what can be described as a teaspoon of wine to taste (sniff was more realistic), I could not make... More

Davey, We are genuinely sorry you didn't enjoy your visit with us. We try very hard to make everybody feel they are our only customer and in most instances, we have been recognised for it. Having a tasting table in the shop is a challenging thing to manage when it gets busy. Our staff are trained to give samples of... More

Thank you, we are both really pleased you enjoyed your time here. It's so beautiful on a clear day, watching the cruise liners in the bay with a glass of wine in hand!! The live Sunday music adds a nice touch as well. Thanks again for making the effort to tell others. Russ & Sarah Adgestone Vineyard More

We had a wonderful welcome by Jill who was happy to let us try all the different wines that were made at the vineyard. Jill also explained about the new wine tours that they do - a must for the next time we visit the Isle of Wight.

Spent a wonderful 4 hours, having tea, doing the wine tour and tasting, and finishing with lunch. Everyone was so friendly. The tour was interesting, self guided which meant you could do it at your own pace, interesting and informative. The staff were helpful and friendly, (Many thanks to Jill for her expertise and informative chat,) despite being busy with... More

We called at the Vineyard one afternoon on while on holiday on the Isle of Wight. It took quite a long time to find, but was worth it. We didn't go on a tour of the Vineyard, but bought some of their white and rose wine which is lovely. The people running it were very friendly and helpful. It has... More

We arrived at 10am on the way back to the ferry. We were greatest warmly by a lady who had been working hard in the vineyard due to harvest time. She was friendly and accommodating of our two young children (3 and 6 weeks). Our 3 year old loved her cream tea as did we! The youngest was also pleased... More
