I was disappointed to find this closed effectively on a midweek visit. A note on the cafe door said that someone was around for golf but there was no sign of life. The webiste says the place is open all year. That is misleading. I was upset that I could not get any refreshments as based on viewing the website I... More

Sir, I do apologize we have had some problems accessing the website to update the winter time table. Usually in previous years Browns has been shut at this point. We have been attempting to keep it open as late in the year as possible but being predominantly a seasonal business we have had to close the doors during the week.... More

This was the first time we had visited Browns Family Golf since my friends previous visit over 45 years ago. She has very fond memories of the place and although it is looking a little unloved and run down, we thoroughly enjoyed our round. After our game we found out that Browns had recently been taken over from the people... More

A holiday isn't the same without crazy gold by the sea. We really enjoyed the golf with our young family. It was a simple course and nothing to exciting however this made it no less fun

Great value Crazy Golf. 18 holes, all of them made you feel you could do them but none so easy it was boring. I didn't get a chance to have a second game but would happily have done so.

Nice cup of tee and sticky bun. But it's in a poor old condition. It could be a fab place.on the sea front in the sun. With a few bob spent on it.

This small cafe is a lovely place to spend an hour of peace enjoying the best cream tea on the island. The staff were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome, we settled ourselves on the most soft sofa overlooking the golf course and enjoyed half an hour of peace while the children visited other attractions.

Unfortunately this long established venue has lost its way. The course is a bit of a joke but OK for fun golf but frankly the nearby crazy golf is a better bet. Time for the owners to spend some money to bring up to spec or find another use for the land in my opinion.
