This small cafe is a lovely place to spend an hour of peace enjoying the best cream tea on the island. The staff were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome, we settled ourselves on the most soft sofa overlooking the golf course and enjoyed half an hour of peace while the children visited other attractions.

Unfortunately this long established venue has lost its way. The course is a bit of a joke but OK for fun golf but frankly the nearby crazy golf is a better bet. Time for the owners to spend some money to bring up to spec or find another use for the land in my opinion.

We visited here after visiting Dinosaur Isle and to be honest it looks NOTHING from the outside. However, the interior is a conservatory style setting overlooking the golf course. The scones were melt in your mouth and warm accompanied by beautiful clotted cream and jam. The kids also had milkshakes which were HUGE and topped with whipped cream. Well worth... More

With a £4.50 charge for 9 holes of pitch and putt, Brown's offers good value for money. The greens may not be table-top smooth but are perfectly fine for a 40 minute hack by a rank amateur like me.

Over our week long holiday we played the long putting and the pitch and putt - enjoyed both and was fairly reasonably priced. Absolutely loved the cafe they have at the site - super menu for young children and lots of toys for them to play with. I felt really relaxed eating lunch with them here which is sometimes difficult... More

We went here over a year ago but there is no option for postings for further back than September so I have chosen that date. In fact we have gone several times but last year was the most recent. We enjoyed our visit and tried 3 of the courses on offer, two of the pitch and putt and the simple... More

We visited the Browns cafe, after a visit to Dino Isle. From outside Browns doesn't look much, but when you walk in it's a completely different feel. Very clean, light and well set out. The food was lovely. The cheese and crackers were great. Good value for money too. Staff very friendly. Would visit again, no problem.

We have been visiting Brown's for many years, as did my parents and grandparents before us. We were disappointed at Easter to find just one of the putting greens open and the place closing early. Fast forward to August and its completely different story, the main pitch and putt red course was reopened plus the long and short putting greens.... More
