We went to the casino with our friends a couple of times. Enjoyed being a bit reckless. Casino staff were very pleasant and helpful in explaining how to play.
16 of us met up with a friend staying at the Palace Casino Hotel, for dinner one evening, there was a choice, of a set 2/3 course carvery or an ala carte menu, the steak was cooked to perfection with excellent waiting on staff, I would think of staying there if we return to The Isle of Man
Owned by the Sefton Group plc who were recently bailed out by the government so there's little money to spend on a badly needed refurbishment. Not a pretty building and at the wrong end of the promenade.
A lovely setting but let down by the type of clientele that are allowed in - Football shirts, cut off shorts, trainers. Too few tables open, no restaurant in the casino. The night we went there was a Stag Party in there.! Not an experience to repeat. If you want to gamble stay in Britain or go to Vegas.
The entrance has a build up of dead flies, the staff are rude and don't understand basic English. The rooms are filthy with soiled bed sheets and the windows are rotten. This hotel needs pulling down.

It was stifling to say the least, however, the room was very clean, spacious with a great supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and.bottled water. The most impressive part of our stay was the service and staff everyone was friendly... More
I have used the Palace on a number of occasions for business. I love the ease of access, great food, and friendly staff. I find the Palce a very useful for discreet business meatings where we want a bit of peace and quiet to dicuss things. Highly recommended!
