Show all the latest films on release. The seats are really comfortable and with leg space. The only negative is the having to queue to get tickets behind others that are getting their tickets and sweets for a kids party! - very time consuming.

the sound and seating is better in the upstairs cinema, downstairs can feel a little claustrophobic if it's a full house.

I visited the cinema twice in the three days I have been on the island. It is very conveniently situated next to the Palace hotel. The staff are attentive, and there was no need to queue for tickets or sweets and drinks as the cinema was rather quiet. Screen 1 is a much larger theatre than screen 2. Both offer... More

This is cinema is very average as Cinema's go, the new seating is a big improvement and you no longer stick to the floor when you go in however the price is very expensive especially 3D movies for a family. The cost of popcorn is just silly!

A cinema use to be cheap (around a fiver) not here though and with only two screens you have little options.

Thank goodness the Palace Cinema was saved from closure about 20 years ago when so many others were lost. Recently refurbished and with two theatres, the Palace shows the very latest films, including 3D, concurrently with their release in London. Going to the cinema is now popular again and this is a comfortable, friendly venue.

The cinema is very comfortable and the operating company seem to be able to secure a good range of films shortly after their general release. Recommended.
