We visited the glen to view the lights and were not disappointed. A great deal of work has gone into making this a varied and colourful display. From angels to dinosaurs the was something for all tastes.

I saved this little walk for the last night of my first visit to the Isle of Man and found it peaceful and enchanting , all I needed was a small child for it to be perfect

I had always wanted to go to this glen in the evening when it is lit up but have never been there at the right time of year, until now. It was well worth the wait. On our last night in Douglas we made the effort to walk there in the rain and found a hidden delight. The lights were... More

We went one evening with the children aged 8&5 and it was brilliant. The lights and the walk in the dusk were lovely. The displays were working well and the walk by the river was idyllic. we happily pootled with the dog in the glen for 20 mins, following all the paths to see all the lights. Lovely free time!

When I was a kid, we used to go to Summerhill Glen, and as soon as I saw that the lights were in I wanted to bring my 4 yr old daughter! So tonight we did it and we all loved our walk, granted we were glad we were not pushing a push chair! Even my friend with a dodgy... More

Visit at dusk. The lights from top to bottom of the hilly glen are beautiful and provide a quiet romantic feel to the park. They are very unusual, with many featuring dinosaurs, but if you ignore the shapes and appreciate the effect of shade and light, it's delightful.

We entered the glen from the top end, and initial impressions were that if ever a glen looked and felt run down, then this was it. However, there was a failryland feel to the bottom end and I will not go into detail here; I reckon the best time to visit would be around dusk. I used to come to... More

We took our boys (4 and 5) to the glen late at night and they were entranced. It is such a magical place! They loved the dinosaur lights and gnomes n their toadstools!
