The transport network on the island is amazing. The best part is incorporating the heritage railways into the public transport network! The buses can sometimes be late but that is understandable due to the way all the roads are on the island.

All the buses and trains were always on time. The bus drivers were always helpful. I bought the three day pass which was excellent value for money.

Enjoyable way to see the island, even for non-train enthusiasts! Workers are obviously enthusiasts. We went to Port St Mary on the steam train then walked to Port Erin around the coast then got the train back again. Lovely cafe at Douglas station.

I absolutely loved the old style trains (the electric railway & steam railway) and also the trams in Douglas. They were really comfy and reasonably priced.

The Isle of Man is a transport lover's paradise. The trams and trains are old, but the buses are brand spanking new. Get a Go card, it'll get you on everything, even up Snaefell.
