It's got it's charms I suppose. Better for younger children. Bring your own food. Worst thing about it was there were at least 2-3 school trips visiting and they completely monopolised the rides. Cowboy town was a massive disappointment. Shame as it could be so much better!

Wonderful place both growing up and now. Very retro, not much has changed in the 15 years I have been visiting, but that is how I like it. Would recommend a visit just to experience the history associated with it!

This is a great theme park for all the family. Lots to do for all ages and unlike some other theme parks you can cut costs by taking your own food in. Also if you are on the island for a week you can buy a sister ticket to get into robin hill which is another great place to take... More

We visited Isle of Wight at the end of August 2015. We stopped off at Blackgang Chine to take a look. My husband had recently had bladder surgery and needed to go to the toilet and as their were none in the entrance to the park he asked if he could use the toilet, he was told "yes, if you... More

I've been going to Blackgang Chine for over 20 years. My children loved it and now my Grandchildren are loving it. Every time we visit, it seems to have changed, which is in part, due to the cliff erosion. Many things that were once there have either had to be moved back or are no longer there, as they were... Dog friendly attraction, always a bonus for us as we go everywhere with our dog. Lots to do, aimed at children, but found it equally entertaining as 40 year olds! The lifelike/size dinosaurs were great, especially the T-Rex. Lots of great photo opportunities, and the location is amazing.
