A Pretty evening stroll

A lovely walk but a little over priced. Quite pretty but grandchildren a little bored. Worth a visit

The Chine provides a pleasant downhill route from Old Shanklin to the seafront but I'm not sure why there's an entry fee when similar walks (e.g. Jesmond Dene Newcastle) are free.

So so stunning. Speechless! The magnificent waterfall and being at one with mother nature. Stunning views made really good photographs. Very impressed!

It was quite quiet and easy to find your way through. Would of liked the lights on but they had finished! I have been many times and still like walking through the Chine!

Not exactly an oasis of calm among the madness, as the area is all very relaxed, but still a beautiful luscious green space. Well designed use of the space to make the walkthrough easy (it is accessible from both the high street and the sea side)

This is a very overpriced short walk from town to the sea. so many better walks available on the island that are free. Steer clear of this attraction - just these to fleece tourists.

A very pleasant walk through this lovely setting even in October. Not really suitable for those with walking difficulties but I do not see how that could be overcome without destroying the whole reason for being there. Fortunately we are still able to slowly move around! Interesting and informative exhibit about the geology of the IOW and how chines came... More

Nice walk, beautiful surroundings. Expensive for what it is. Not suitable for a pushchair and I would start at the top and go down.

We stumbled across this chine walking along the beach. When we were there it wasn't crowded, almost had the place to ourselves. The ravine is charming and there is lots to see, plants and at the top an impressive waterfall.
