Very pretty but a bit boring for children

Whilst staying at a local guest house - we visited Shanklin Chine. The entrance is hidden away - not easily accessed by cars - but that makes it all the more charming and unspoilt. I remember visiting The Chine when i was a child in the 1960's and the place still retains the tranquil charm it had back then.

A great little place to spend half a day. It is very tranquil and picturesque. You can walk from the top at Shanklin and finish off down by the beach.
