Gary and Tracy just cant do enough for you in any given situation. Always a smile and a wave when you pass despite them always on... More

We had a lovely time in Dunbar. It is such a lovely little town, lovely harbour which was great for a walk with the kids and some interesting exploring - even on a rainy day. Nice wee shops in the town and lots of coffee opportunities.

A quick visit here on our walk along the John Muir Way from North Berwick to Cockburnspath. The harbour is fantastic and a really interesting place to visit. The High Street is a little uninspiring. The Basewell Hotel is good.

Love the fact that walking down Dunbar High Street in early August, if we saw 20 people, it was crowded! The harbour is amazing, views, atmosphere and 2 resident seals who are fun to spot. We saw them every day, friends who have been never saw them!

Was Once a very Busy Holiday resort, but all this gradually faded from the 1970's Onwards. Now signs of regeneration, though not many Tourists have come back yet,so much quieter than North Berwick. The 2x Dunbar FREE Museums,The Coffee Shop,The Harbour & a stroll down the main Street all worth seeing,as is probably the 2 mile coastal walk.Train Station very central & cheap quick... Kids love the leisure pool here, thought it was a brilliant idea by East Lothian council to offer free child swims all through school summer holidays. Good poolside cafe, nice walks on the beaches and around the ancient harbour. Good gift shops on High Street and a fab coffee shop when in need of a caffeine fix in GRAZE, choose... More

We loved Dunbar, the beaches are really interesting, the rock pooling was a highlight for us all! Easily accessible by train from York, we will go again. The harbour and castle are well worth exploring and the town has some lovely cafes and pubs. The only reason Dunbar doesn't get a 5* is the dog pooh!! They really need to... More

Not sure what we expected but we were disappointed! There was no decent place for a coffee/tea and everywhere seemed so tired other than John Muir's birthplace.
